I didn't really want to mention this but as this is our first tourney, I think Members will back me up & It needs to be said.
We will be changing our freeroll policy to protect our loyal members. If players give out the freeroll tournament passwords, we will investigate, with the help of our host, currently Paradise Poker. We reserve the right to make our own assumptions for league membership. And qualification is at the sole discretion of the my-local-poker.com Administration & Moderators.
It's not hard to follow our rules, you know who you are & trust me we do also. Please play the game & try to be part of this growing community.
We know that that the Internet is awash with freeroll poker, but here we are trying to play REAL POKER. For this reason alone we allow first time discretions, please learn fast!
Yes , we are playing Freeroll Poker, but this Is at OUR EXPENSE not the On line Poker Rooms. If you violate our site you are violating all of our members!!
Your first real gain here is your poker development . The second gain is your position in our league at the end of the year for the Top Thirty Bonanza.
You have Now been Warned. Do Not Give Out Passwords.
To be honest, What is the point, membership is easy & YOU WILL THANK US FOR TAKING THIS STAND LATER ON. _________________ skcuSegreM

|

When I joined forces with Brian Wills to bring a Poker League to our forum I was ecstatic, mostly due to the fact that here was a man with nothing but a desire to have others play well at the poker tables by giving away all of his hard secrets to the general public and doesn't use this as extra income like the big greedy banner filled pages, rather Brian gives it all back to you. I know for a fact that there is no other Forum league like this one but we need to appreciate where this has come from.
The fact that a member leaked the password to a friend or two today is a lack of respect to that person and to all the other members of the poker league including the administrators. We truly need to do ourselves a huge favor from here on in, we need to all take a stand together for ourselves and keep a close eye on the forum as a community like a big neighborhood watch family. We have been working very hard to keep out the non-interested freeroll chasers and now we need you to help also.
We already have a different measure in place to ensure that no one can have access to any passwords ever again.
Let's really think about this forum and use it to it's fullest because it's fun, it's free and best of all it's yours to keep.

Hey all!
I think if we can get people to post their poker room usernames against their MLPR username and make a list so we can also verify who is actually supposed to be registered for future tournaments. Then MLPR can contact the poker room support team to remove "?????" from the tournament listing prior to the start of the tourney.
What do you all think about this? Any other suggestions??
Thanks...

Just so you all know .... By chance we have found the member who crashed the past 2 tournaments and are dealing with thier altercation. We have not found who has given the password out unfortunately.
But now that we are on a pre registration basis for all future tournaments, we doubt this will happen ever again.
At least with this next tournament tomorrow the PW disbursment is only to a select few, therefore we already have it narrowed down should the PW leak this time around.
In the future we hope not to have to use pass words at all, and we realise that we need your timely cooperation to pre register on time, and thank you all for your efforts of doing so. _________________ One Deal At A Time!

| Can you have more than 1 MLP account? I think there is some of this going on as well. I have seen it before in other poker forums as well. Account #1 will play very agressive, hoping to take a big chip lead early. If he goes broke, no big deal. He just logs in using account #2. No worries. I think you should be as, or more concerned about this because it is completely unfair to have 2 chances out of 28 to win a tournament. It also creates terrible, and absolutely moronic plays. If you want to know who is doing this, let me know. |

Silly!!! I and a little new to this forum, and im not sure if you have this, but i think there should be a Hall of Shame!! |

| Any one caught giving out our passwords should be banned. There should be no warnings given. Also the forum should have the players who stole our password banned from the poker site. Carbon will do this. |
