Maybe I should have gotten away from this one but I had him on either a large pp or maybe AJ pre-flop. Wasn`t even going to call but decided it was worth seeing a flop.

Get my money in the next hand and quadruple up. Manage to claw my way back into the game and then some time later this little beauty sends me to the rail.

Hand 1 - it's really hard to mine for a set when you have top two staring at you.  I like the check raise.  But when he comes over the top, do you really put him on tptk?  I would have really had to think long and hard about calling the reraise.  although tbh, i very well may have played it the same way.

Hand 2 - villain has you outchipped 2.5:1.  Do you think he would have folded if you shoved it all in post flop from the get go?  oop I would worry about flush chasers.  Even though he wasn't on the flush draw post flop, betting only 2400 into a pot that's already nealy 4000 makes it look like you're the one on a draw.  And I'm sure that was what he thought when he shoved after your bet, he wanted you to decide whether it was worth your entire to stack to chase it.  Imagine his surprise when you turned over a set.  just dumb luck or rigged rngs that he outdrew you in the end.

Very nice return to the game from 300 to 6000 chips with the blinds in 250.

hand#1

That's why the 2bb raises sucks, you don't know if they have really something, or just try to steal cheap, and with smaller cost is more tempting to call just to see. Then the worst flop, if only hit the 8 or the J probably could fold easy.

Don't know if i could fold, depends how see this guy playing other hands.

hand#2
In flop you are 100% sure that have the best hand, so was a easy call, was unlucky but probably is exactly what you want with your hand, bet low and catch some one to pay you and 2ble you up, in the long run you want this hands, but yes, it sucks when this happen.
