The APF Venus & Mars Cup Competition
	Current Champions and holders of the shield are : The Poker Angels Miklosik (C), BlackTyson, Mrs Know-nuffin, KITYKATS, Runnymede, ARose50, shirun, vegasjj, crazylady, Know-nuffin Winning Team Award : This shield will be awarded to the winning team of The APF Venus & Mars Shield and be held for the period until the next Angels vs. Devils challenge. It will appear in the "Medals and Trophies" section and the "Results" section.

Alright, we're going to try a new format for this which will open up the V & M to all members and make the whole thing a lot easier to organise and run. It was always difficult to decide who plays and who doesn't and the new format will allow everyone to contribute and take part in one or all of the games. Essentially this is all just a bit of Xmas fun (a mini-poker olympics if you like) and i'm sure the Angels will be fighting to keep their award.

A couple of the games are not set correctly in the lobby at the moment but this will be fixed soon. Hopefully we'll have a couple of captains to egg things along through the month too.

It's shaping up to be an interesting game tomorrow and although the boys have more signed up so far, remember they do have the handicap of only having one mod score available to them - which looks to leave things pretty open at the moment.

A few notable absentee ladies so far, let's hope they pop in over the weekend .....not that it will make much difference...

...i sense the shield is coming home !!!

Well given the Angels only had 3 players in this game, i think they did really well in keeping it relatively close. I hope we have a couple more in the next game to give the girls a real chance otherwise it's going to be an uphill struggle from here.

Well it looks like the final game will just be about pride for the ladies (unless a miracle happens) but their tasks was really made difficult by their lack of numbers. I hope we'll still get a good turnout for the final game and remember, that only the devils that score in the 4 games will get the award in their sig line - so there's still something to play for.

Well that's it folks, the boys claim the award back and well done to the points scorers who now get to hold awards in their sig lines. The girls will need to find some more support if there to win this back but i hope you still enjoyed the change in format.
