The MLP Freeroll League Table : Season 3 FINAL STANDINGS

Welcome to the MLP Freeroll League Season 3 :
- 1st place and the MLP Freeroll League trophy goes to Know-nuffin.

The top 10 finishers get a guaranteed place in the MLP All Leagues Freeroll Bonanza (info below).

If you are not yet a Freeroll League member and wish to take part in the Freeroll League, you can find all the information you need to join here. Table Updated to include OFC #13 & WSOOF.

This will be a series of 6 events held over a 3 month period. The first scoring game of each month will be a standard League Freeroll and the 2nd scoring game of each month will be a top 20 Posters game. There will also be bonus points to be scored from the OFC monthly events - next up : End of Season Bonanza (click here for details).
League table points will be awarded relative to your finishing positions.

New rules and info :

Hi everyone

Well here are the details for Season 3 of the MLP Freeroll League. Just a couple of new rules to mention :

The top 10 finishers get a guaranteed place in the MLP All Leagues Freeroll Bonanza.

After consideration this should give a more balanced entry to the bonanza from all our leagues. I fully expect players to overlap in qualification so the extra players will be taken from the Freeroll League.

- Should one of our moderators not reach the top 10 at the end of the season. He/she will be given a wild card entry into the bonanza. This will not affect the top 20, so no one will lose their place.

In the unlikely event that this should happen, Brian and i feel that this should be added as a bonus for all the free hard work that is done by our moderators on the forum.

No one will lose their spot so in effect should Nate not qualify for this season, we would end up with a top 21 !

I doubt very much this will happen but i'm sure you will all agree that our mods deserve this.

You will also notice that we have listed games at Poker.com/Carbon. Carbon Poker is the new version of Poker.com which is why we will be using the new site name in the future.

If you are still using Poker.com, you will be able to access and play any of the games listed at Carbon Poker without problem because they are essentially still the same site. There will be no restrictions between the two !

As soon as we have banners and bonus codes, i will make them available on the forum.

I have to agree, this is a great idea and they deserve to be in the tourney. I don't see how you folks find the time to keep track of everything. Thanks for all the hard work.

UPDATE :

After considering muratore's idea, we have discussed the bonanza and i have made some adjustments to the qualifications. Please read the first 2 posts in this thread to find out about these changes. This may not be to everyone taste but i feel that the system is fair and flexible and should allow those deserving to make the Bonanza, the best opportunity possible. This will be the system for the period April - June, i hope you all like it. Further discussion on the merits of the rules should be discussed in the thread Ideas, Thoughts and Suggestions for forthcoming MLP Leagues.

i have moved the posts about muartore's ideas to the thread above in the "Wish List" section. This will be a thread to discuss forthcoming League ideas and wishes.

I would like to wish all MLP members the best of luck in Season Three of the Freeroll League. Season 2 was again a resounding success & the standard of play was generally very good.

I'm sure that season 3 will go way beyond season two

for numbers, so when this happens please try to still play your best poker, lets not have our games turn in to donk fests

Try to improve your game - as this is what MLP is all about. If you have any questions or thoughts on how a hand was played or general strategy then go ahead, post it on the forum, there are plenty here that will help or confirm your thoughts.

Can anyone stop the MLP Mod domination of this league?
Maybe its KN or Nate's turn

One last thing
For the next week, could I ask all members to help grow MLP.
Try to tell one new person per day about the MLP Leagues - That's It, nothing too hard

Two games left & a maximum of 27 points haul still available.

My guess is that this is anyone's Trophy, but a good performance this weekend & you may just be in the mix come the last tourney.

WTG Know-nuffin

Painful to watch there at the end when it's out of your hands.
But overall you have had a consistent season & the Trophy is well deserved

Plus with a very good chance in the Buy In league this season you could be a Double Trophy winner

The only other player with a realistic chance of achieving this monumental achievement would be Harry who is sitting on top of the HORSE league & also fighting for the Buy in League Trophy

Painful was the word. I didn't think it was such a big deal until I thought I had blown it. :smt087 All I could do then was sit back and sup up a beer.

We were having major hassle from the laptop last night;

I started the game in a flustered state,

played like a muppet

and crashed out early.

I felt sure Cerberi was gonna come through and snatch it in the end, how well he played, and how come he doesn't have a medal yet.

The closeness of the result is testament to the depth of strong players we have here at MLP. I feel fortunate to have held on by my finger tips.
