sorry, just being facetious...

unless you flop a royal, there is always the possibilty of losing with the best hand from preflop to the turn, even after the turn, he still had about an 8% chance to suck out...you should have tipped the dealer more if you wanted that royal

maybe I read it wrong, but it looks as if it was a freeroll, that itself explains a lot, many with a board like that simply don't realize that their 2 pair is almost certainly no good...

What was the preflop betting like, did you make a standard raise say somewhere in the 900 chip range, or did you limp ?
Did you bet your straight on the flop or slow play it ?
