just a heads up so you don't miss anything, check your spam filter, we usually receive notifications from alternatepoker@alternate.dk but today they are showing up under rulesofpoker@myfastforum.org
I only mention that as I never noticed it before (damn lack of enough coffee yet...)

i'm still getting all of mine from alternatepoker@alternate.dk so this may have just been a temporary hick-up.
sometimes if our forum servers makes some quick changes from their end, that e-mail address will pop up which is our primary server e-mail.
...clear as mud right ?
i'll look into what they are doing anyway.

wipe what i just said !!!
i've just checked over at the forum support and it appears this will be a standard implemented change (mine are now from the server e-mail too). i'm not to happy about it but can also see their reasoning. Here's part of why they have changed things taken from support :

There is nothing we can do about that (at least that I know of) whilst keeping the from address as it is.
So from now on, we will try setting the from address to an address within the forums domain and using the "reply_to" address as the boards email address.
With such an approach an email should get further, it may still be treated as junk, but that is less of an issue as it can be dealt with more by the user. |

for the time being yes.
i've just been told by support that they may be changing back soon so i'm not 100% sure which it will be. it's out of my hands until they make a decision but this has all been tried in an attempt to benefit forum users in general.
i hope we will go back to the usual and will post as soon as i know for sure what is happening.
