Looks like you are probably behind so the only way you can win the pot is with a good sized bet. I'm thinking your opponent may well have a medium sized over pair (unless he was drawing to the flush or straight but then probably would have taken a free river card), so the question is, can you get him/her off the pot with a good bluff and is it worth the risk.
We don't knnow his playing style either which makes it more difficult to have a clear idea of the hand.
Be nice to hear some other variations on this. _________________

I think you have to fire the last bullet. I think the villian is drawing to the flush. By position, it would be hard to put him on any of the crap out on the board, (unless you have him tagged as an ace rag kind of player) as it would be hard to put you on the board.
You've played it like a made hand thus far except for the turn. And his bet there was purely informational, I think. There is already enough in this pot to make it worthwhile for him to call any bet you put out on the river, so he probably will. But if you don't bet it, he sure as hell will and then what you gonna do? _________________

if he had an overpair or a set, he would repop with a flush draw or unlikely str8 draw showing. He wouldn't want any fisherman in there. I wouldn't check the river. _________________

Well i figured i was behind but i didnt think that he liked his hand too much(probly mid pair)
So i had to fire the last bullet
I hoped the smallish bet made it look like i was very strong especially after the check/raise on the turn
It seemed to do the trick
