I was thinking maybe we should have a TEAM league, iam going to put some ideas for this together and post them, but id love to here from you guys, does anyone think this is an ok idea so we may end up with a freeroll and buyin TEAM league

I was also thinking it would be good if MLP could arrange head 2 head with other poker forums iam going to put some ideas for this together and post them, i know there is a forum challenge but if we could launch a forum head 2 head i think it may go down well as the challenge has a lot of players and forums in it, this way a forum could build a strong rep 1 on 1

I like the idea of an MLP head to head with another forum. That sounds like a lot of fun.

I don't quite follow the bit about the freeroll and buy in teams. Are you thinking it would be for teams of players at MLP to play against other MLP teams, in closed forum events?

these are excellent ideas and i have already been thinking along these lines about both of them. i also had a thought about a head to head tournament run over a whole evening to crown a MLP champion.

tha main problem is purely the budget at the moment. with what's happening in the US market, it's having a big affect on our funds coming in from sign-ups and therefore we having to lean more and more towards sponsered events for MLP, which is not so easy with a small forum.

we've only just started the 2 new leagues and they must be the priority for now so my energies are going in to making sure these are successful and we have the numbers to justify keeping them going. i think we need a larger active membership before we try more team things .....unless you guys want to prove me wrong by enough of you responding on this thread (yes that's a challange

).

so again, these ideas are great and i'm very happy if you want to pursue it and get some ideas down with the help of the other members.

after we see how the 2 leagues finish up i think we'll have a better idea of where we stand and can possibly look to add and try something new from there.
