Two hands from the same SnG.

I didn't try anything cute with 7-2 off in either hand.

In the first (a sb v bb) I benefited from a bet to see where I was. Would you have raised pre-flop.

The second time with 7-2 off, following a free look and check to the river I hit bottom pair and my bet was insta-folded to.

It made me consider, could I have bet earlier in the hand.

If you had bet the entire hand and your opponent called, you would have to wondering whether or not your opponent had hit middle pair or bottom pair. Limit poker encourages fishing and online poker rewards fishing. I think the hands were played very well as is.

I think you played both hands just fine.

Leading out at the flop in the first hand is a good tactic. The sb can be profitable if you play it right and when you`re up against just the bb you`re probably right to bet anytime you make a pair.

The second hand you might have been able to take it on the turn but it would have been a risky play imo. You could probably have checked it down and won but I don`t mind the value bet on the river, he might call with Ax and pay you off a little.

Second hand, I would've checked the river. On the other hand, I pushed all in the other night with 72o vs. an early limper for about 9 big blinds cuz I'm stupid like that.

Opponent had A7s, I hit trips 2s and took it down, of course. Finished itm--no good donk goes unrewarded.
