Alternate Poker4ever League - FINAL STANDINGS
This is a 6 game buyin league sponsored by Poker4ever. Each game is a $2+.20 buyin with $25 added to the prize running on 6 consecutive Fridays nights through Feb & March. The overall winner of the league will receive an entry voucher to the $4000 Guaranteed tournament at the end of March. League points system
Tie Breaker : Should 2 players end on the same points, the player with the most wins from the 6 games will be placed higher in the table, if still tied we will look at most 2nd places, then 3rd places etc Information : Poker4ever have generously upped our sponsorship in added prize pool money. As always, the only downside of this sponsorship is that only members that download through APF banners will be able to play in this event (a Poker4ever rule). Well here is it as (sort of  ) promised.
We may not have the biggest games over at P4E but they have still be generous enough to offer up this little league so i really hope all our regulars will take part and if there's one or two of you that have the possibility to join up through the forum, then you are more than welcome. The $4000 Guaranteed is in fact a rebuy but that doesn't mean you will have to do anything than play your entrance and give it a damn good shot. All the games will be set up in our usual top 5 payout fashion so this really is value for money. ...good luck in the league folks !

The first game is now open for registration and you'll see all the league games are now up in the lobby. For the other games, registration will open 7 days before the start time.

I wish this league could be moved to another site. Everleaf, Poker4ever, only allows one account on their network. I use to have an account at Poker4ever but dropped it when I was only allowed to play in the private games of the forum who's link I used. I like playing on this network but the rules really suck big time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

to an extent i agree jolub (i think we'd get some really good numbers there if they opened up) but at the same time, one of the reasons why P4E has supported us this long is exactly because it's our sign-ups that are playing on our games which makes them feel it's worth adding the money to our events even though the numbers are not huge. i don't like the ruling either but i'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth and those that are able to play these games seem to really enjoy them. we are not a particular large forum and the budget is tight so sometimes we have to simply take the sponsorships that are available to us. added to that, i must say the support at P4E is really excellent and i do feel a certain loyalty to them. if the Minted Poker (new to the OIFC this month) venue goes ok for sign-ups, i may see if they'll sponsor some games there in the future, but we'll have to see how it goes.

Update
So we're at the half way stage and "the limeman for the county" (what a tune ) has a slender lead. Ram and KN are in close attendance with the pack gathering quietly in the wings .....i reckon we're in for a photo finish
I should warn you all that my other half is in Germany playing a couple of gigs, so for tonight i've have got myself a nice bottle of Ballentines and i won't be afraid to use it.

OK, on everleaf, you can sign up for all the sites, you just have to create different emails for each one. A HUGE pain in the ass, but it's kind of worth it for me as there are so many different Everleafs with different tourneys. I asked chat if I could do this one time and they seemed to indicate you couldn't - but when I talked to PIC CLUB about it they said their members do it all the time. (From within PIC club you can see there are quite a few sites on the Everleaf network, and they all take PIC) |

I'm not sure but it looks like P4E may have eased up on their Private Game policy. At the moment in the "Private" lobby, i can see all sorts of private forum games which is very unusual. I will look into this more closely next week but it could be that non-apf sign-ups can now register for our games there. let's hope so. |

Might be better trying to get the games open to all forum members rather than sign ups Its not as if we are just playing freerolls there so people would more than likely have made a deposit to be able to play |
