Best value tournaments for under $5?

What are the best value tournaments out there for a low buy-in?

I'm not a big fan of Full Tilt and don't play there very often, but I've just discovered their Daily Dollar tournaments.

It's a $1 entry with a $10k guaranted prize pool. I think they run twice a day with about 3,000 entries.

That looks like pretty good value to me.

What other online tournaments do you know about which represent good value for a buy-in of under $5?

P.stars also run a couple of $1, 1K gtd games that regularly have 2000+ entries. With 3000 chip starting stacks you get plenty of bang for your buck.

It depends what you're looking for.  The ones mentioned so far are nice if you want big tournaments that have large prize pools are are willing and able to play long enough.  At the other end of the field size scale, Pitbull's guaranteeds often have overlays and are small enough to be over in a couple of hours.

Thanks for those tips. I know that Addam asked a similar question a while back, so I'll try and comb around the archive and see if I can find the answers.

Arjonius makes a good point too about Pitbull. I'm not a fan of their software, but there are some good prizes up for grabs without having to wade through massive fields or it taking too much time.

Cheers KN for the steer on the PokerStars 3,000 chip jobs - I'll check those out.

Pitbull's software isn't awful although I'd prefer it if they used something I'm more used to.  Another thing I'm not so keen on is the structure, which is on the fast side.  It's not like a turbo, but it's not uncommon to see shove or fold play toward the end due to the stack sizes.

Yeah, the Pitbull tournaments I've played in are 6 minute blind levels with a starting stack of 1,000 chips so it doesn't take long for them to complete. I kind of like that, but 1,500 chips would give you more room for manoeuvre.
