Carbon is  merge network the basically have the same tournies... crazylady Thank, that was an awsome comparison of the 2. 6 months has passed & rumor has it that Bodog will soon be opening their doors to Canadians. Bodog has about a 3 to 1 advantage in terms of player averages over Merge sites which is pretty impressive given that it's a stand alone site. addam00 hi most of bo dog layers  are sports gamblers maning they are willing to risk more  of ther money in like a hand that would give you like 3 or  4 outs..   most of the players make ther money on sports betting and horses.. thats  how i got started on bo dog..  alot of the players  play reckless but once you get deeper inthe tournis and or weed those  players outr in the cash games it come good poker and your usally in the cash by then DangerMouse An interesting comparison but . . . Almost all of the fields you face at bodog will be much bigger giving you a smaller chance of winning/cashing. You`re pretty much restricted to playing NLHE at bodog, at Merge you can play a much wider variety of games. In terms of the freerolls remember Merge has 12 x $50 freerolls each day and also has the $1k, $2k, $10k and $50k freerolls for those who qualify each day/week/month. There are also the funsteps at Merge. Tough to win but you win real cash for play money. Bodog has very few tournaments that are good for the European market. Their schedule is pretty dire before 11am EST. The Merge software is vastly superior to bodogs. It looks better, runs better. At bodog you can only open 3 tables at once (although this is being changed), at Merge you can open a lot more tables if that`s your thing. Bodog does have the edge in tournament structure though and it does have the beginners sngs which are great for bankroll building (I`ve had many an early morning fishing trip to those ponds     ) It`s also much easier to be a shark amongst the smaller Merge fields. If you play there any length of time you`ll soon get to know the dangerous players. That`s a little more difficult at bodog. Both sites, indeed all sites have their pros and cons. The trick is to find the games you like and are profitable at a range of sites and switch between them. addam00 hi I actually like  the bo dog software  better than the merge. bo dog aslo  had freerolls with pts and to get into main event and other tournies. tournies  daily with  poker points....
