Flushing Table
River comes, there is now 2 possible straight flushes (4h and 8h). You are sitting in Poolaaa's seat, you have Ah in your hand, how do you play it now?
check/fold
check/call
check/raise
bet/fold
bet/call
bet/reraise
And why stop at just this scenario.. lets hear your thoughts on other positions at the table, and maybe other holdings, how to best play the 4h and 8h..
How much does it matter that this is a Double or Nothing sng and we are still fairly early, how "shit tight" do we want to be? Would we play it differently here than in a regular sng?

In that case, I'll fold the Ah just to be on the safe side.

not knowing who bets/raised the pot makes it harder to put anyone on any kind of hand...obviously some hands come to mind, with a heart in it, 44, ace 8, etc...
as it's a DON tourny, as first to act, I'd check the ace of hearts, hope one of the others only bets the pot and call, can't fold really no matter what, as the odds of one of them actually haveing the SF are so low, not that it can't happen, heck, I've held the losing end of a SF before, so it's possible the other two both have one...
betting out will only get a RR thrown back @ you, not haven't found out where you really stand, what did they RR with, a king high flush, or the SF...
betting out all in, not the best way to get chips either, either you have the best hand, & they prob will fold, or one or both have a SF & your gonzo...

Without knowing the action it`s tough to make a decision. Blinds were pretty low so it seems likely there was action pre flop. If it`s been checked down since the flop I might be tempted to bet about 2/3rds of the pot.
I don`t mind Pool`s suggestion of checking and then calling anything up to a pot sized bet though.

just had another thought, with the PF action, mura folded 8-4 hearts

He'd never do that; 8-4 suited is 12.5% better than 6-4.

couple of questions occur to me...
- this is the FT or no
- how many places is cash
- how is playin other players (bluff, considered, loosely...)
but one possibility:
i bet 1 pot. if the answer reraise, i make all-in.
his largest chance the flush is. - how surprising ;p - but the highest card its mine.
The chances of the straightflush minimal, it is necessary to go in this situlation.
What is the end? I wonder what happened?

It's a double or nothing game which looks like three get paid.

I would push after the flop if I had the AhKh. So I would be all in before the turn and river. I would just pray the no one had the str8 flush

being the first to act I might put a small bet out (150) there to see where everyone is, if they went all in I might fold. it would depend on how they have been playing at the table. if I knew they were aggressive players I probably would call there all in, but if they were tight players I might fold to them but you have to remember there is 52 cards in a deck and only 11 of them in play for this hand
