Folding King, KingIn what circumstances would you fold KK before the flop? In fact, are there any circumstances in which you would fold these hole cards? I suppose if you raise it up 3-4 times the big blind and someone re-raises or goes all-in against you it must give you serious pause for thought. But they might have QQ, JJ, or even just be getting desperate with AK, AQ or a smaller pocket pair. When is it right to carry on regardless with KK and when, if ever, is it OK to fold?

There are many variables; whether it a cash table, SnG or MTT tourney and chips stack sizes.
One circumstance I can think of is during bubble play, I'd be happy to raise up with them or even go all-in if short stacked, but not so keen to make a huge call in a multi-way pot, it's only one pair.

I can not fold KK preflop. It is just an automatic reflex to hit the all in button when I get these 2 cards. But like kn said it is just one pair. So if 4 or 5 people are in the pot all in then my 2 outer may just be a 1 or no outer. With a lot of drawing hands out there. So I well rethink my play with them.

Aside from the classic one where I have a big stack and can simply fold my way to a satellite I can't imagine a realistic situation where I'd fold KK without giving it a lot of thought. Especially in a ring game where I can just reload.
