geeze, i had another bad beat last night, live tourny, hitting crap cards all night long, played 4 hands up to this point, almost 2 hours in, won 3 so I only had double my starting stack, blinds are now 200-400, 1st to act doubles it to 800, 3 fold, I bet 2000 on my pocket queens, the crapheaddonkeyMOFO, sorry, got to rant ; ) has a good size stack so immediatly says I'll put you all in, I thought for a minute or so, putting him on AK or a decent hand as he was first to act,I figure it's a coin toss, could make my night if he doesn't hit so I call, throw over my queens, he shows A-4 suited of diamonds, & we all know what finally hit on the river after the flop hit with 2 diamonds, no not the flush but the TWO(2) outer as 1 other said he folded his weak ace...

how the F... do you fold QQ in that position, should I have gone all in instead of raising it to 2K, the donk would have called anyways, says he ALWAYS plays any ace when suited...I'm still pissed off about it, thanks for letting me rant ; )

PoolDemon - I feel your pain. Hard to explain what some folks call on. Just out of curiosity, was the allin'er the guys who initially raised to 800? Also, what were the chip stacks at the time, how many were left in the tourney and what positions paid?

hey there, they paid top 3 or 4, we started with about 35-40, yes the all in flush monkey was the original raiser to 800, even though i hadn't played many hands my stack was about average, but less than the donkey's, 2 others had more at my table & no idea of the chips at the other table...even if he really had AK which is what I sssumed he should have had, I would have called, with the dry spell of good cards I was going through, I figured it should hold me over to final table & maybe start getting lucky or dropping some good bluffs in, if I won, it just stung like a bitch cuz is was ace rag, & ace hits on the river, the idiot could have being playing someone that had a real ace & lost, just so stupid of him to not fold a crap hand, we all know any 2 cards can win, but with his stack he could have waited for a real hand...
