Golden rules for cash games?Any golden rules for cash games?
I went through a phase of playing them quite a lot, but then drifted back to mostly MTTS.
I used to play full ring (10 player) low stakes limit and no limit holdem.
But I've heard it's easier to get a handle on your opponents and get your good play to pay off if you stick to six player no limit tables.
Any thoughts on this or the best poker site to play cash games on?

Golden rule... play within your bankroll.

The transition to 6 max isn`t as easy as some people seem to think. I suppose it depends on your game. If you`re naturally a tight player 6 max probably isn`t the thing for you. I`m not sure how the games play at lower limits but I know at the higher levels you`re facing a lot more 3-bets and generally a higher level of aggression.
Even if they are easier games than the full ring you`re still going to have to play very well to remain a consistent winner. NLHE cash games are very tough these days. Far harder than equivalent stakes live games.
Golden rules . . .
Bankroll management. Don`t be embaressed to move down levels if you are losing at a level or if your bankroll can`t support you at that level. Move down, build up and come back.
If you`re going to multi-table (and the site supports it) get a copy of poker tracker or holdem manager etc. Your opponents will be using it so you should use it too. I`d even consider it if I was single tabling. Apart from the info it will give you about your opponents it will also help in analysing your own game.

Oh and another couple of things.
Use every possible way you can to make yourself a profitable player. Reload bonuses turn break even players into profitable ones. Rakeback can help too if you can get it.
