heart breakerJust want to share with you guys this heart breaker hand.
This is a $3 re-buy 8K grtee game. 761 people started, 3.5 hours later I am in a bad position. 63 people will get in the money, 100+ left, BB is 2K and I have 18K chips, I'm very close to the bottom.
I am in a late position, and get 88. Two people ahead of me call the BB, I go all in, they both call it... So should I win - I'm right back in the game 3*18K + apx 5K from ante and BB and SB.... THERE IS HOPE.....
A 99, and A9 - are my competition - 99 ouch... but flop comes 3, 10, 8,
weeeeeeeeeee got my set yes yes...YEEEESSSS
tum ia a 10 OMG OMG yessssssssssss got FH
river....... the river..... the river.... is a 9 ..... he has a biger FH
Now why do the poker gods play this trick on me? Give me all this hope just to crush me....

It really isn't a one outer. It just feels that way. All five are coming no matter so their order really doesn't matter. Sucks but the original odds apply. You where a monster dog and ended as such. Sucks when they come out that way though.

It is true the decisions were made preflop (I think it was the right decision - I had to move I was basically short stack) - The fact was that I was by no means in the driver seat ... more like in the dog house ... 3 spades on turn were not a happy sight - exept no one had spades ... that was nice - so was the set and the FH ... and yes by the time river came it was an one outer ... again true not at the decision time - hense I'm not saying it is a bad beat - I'm saying it is a heart breaker... and I still think and feel it is. (especially considering everything that went on before, the size of the tourney etc.) So I go back to crying...
Cheers
