The mods and I are always striving for the next step for the sites growth.

Here's an idea to aid the whole community.

It's a little thing,

doesn't cost,

but could be good in the long run.

For the next week, could I ask all members to help grow APF

Try to tell one new person per day about the APF Leagues

- That's it, nothing too hard

Many of you already do this.

When you get to the later stages of a tourney, or recognise a good player at a cash table, mention us to them, and how much you enjoy the APF games.

With this simple task, the site grows, your group of online friends grow, the cash ticker grows, the prize pool for our tourneys grow, then when you are successful in a APF game, your bankroll will grow too.

But if for no other reason, the greater the number of good players we attract to this site, the more enjoyable the games we play.

If all our members could get together and do this it'd really mean a lot! So go ahead and get a sticky note and write what you would write to other players at the table, the put the sticky next to your computer so you don't forget!

I'll probably just say something like: Hey guys if anyone is looking to join a great forum, www.alternate-poker.com has an awesome freeroll league!

So everyone lets join together and help APF grow!

was looking through some old threads today and found this one!

this is a great thing for all of us to do! advertising our own forum a bit, to get more players in to the forum and more members join up!

so read Brians first post in this thread, and lets promote MLP!

he mentions do it for a week, why not try to make November the "Grow MLP month"

I'l certainly mention it, most that I know from live play, prefer cash games online over tournaments, so hard to get them interested, but hey, that would be a great idea, any chance of setting up a weekly Friday nite low limit cash game somewhere, maybe we'd get a few more regulars in here with another option of game play ?
