How about a different tournament daySomething to consider.... Um FOOTBALL is on Sunday. Please try not to schedule tournaments on sunday for the duration of the football season. I and many other losers go out to watch the games as we are also fantasy football geeks as well.

The problem is that we cater for a global audience.
Week days are out as the tourney has to be scheduled after US members get back from work & before Europe goes to bed, there is a 5 hour difference.
So we have Saturday or Sunday. I am happy to play either day. To this end I will create a poll, and run it until a week before the next league freeroll
When do you all want to play Saturday or Sunday???

A start time of 7pm UK time would mean that the days football has finished on a Saturday so I would not mind a change but Sunday is fine as well so I will not bother to vote as either day is OK by me.
I will go with the majority.

Okay, well I voted and see I am the only one  I thought that is what poll posts were for 
Honestly, it doesn't matter to me what day it is on, I just voted for consistency If I am unable to attend for what ever reason, it just means I have a higher priority elsewhere If it is scheduled on Super Bowl Sunday, you can probably count me absent This is normally the only event I do not stay home and watch .... sundays are usually fine with me and i like the start time too. normally i have games later so it works out well.
personally i would love to see more mid-week games but i totally agree that this would not be fair to the guys and gals from the u.s. !

i like saturday it is fine with me as long it is after 4:00 pm est because i have to work on saturday somtimes. i don't watch much football. so whatevery is best for the fourm works for me. good luck all you will need on the 10th lol

It may be an idea to have the league games on a different weekend from the forum tournaments.
I think most of us in last nights freeroll were also playing in the OFC event and had to play 2 games at once.
It did not matter much to me as I was knocked out of OFC early but I know errazer was still in OFC when we were heads up on the final table.

agree with the ofc comment. Was quite enoied yesterday... But at least I won something in one of the tourneys.
Back to topic:
I prefer sundays.
Few reasons:
1. I sometimes have football matches saterday evening (ie playing).
2. Saterday is saterday and Well i go out on most of them.
3. I don't get uk footy on tv, so I don't miss anything

I vote for Saturday for purely selfish reasons.
I often work on Sunday nights. 
I'm usually home by ten thirty so can we start at 10:45 pm.
oooh hang on a mo..... I have friends over next week so can we make it the week after.......

I lke the Sunday games and at the same time. Since I'm already in the dog house with the wife for watching football on Sunday I might as well play poker at the same time. - JR
