How do you playAfter Addam and Harrys comments in the bodog thread i was just wondering if anybody plays their game different in tourneys if they have qualified through a satellite for a bigger buy in game than they would normally play
Do you play looser than you normally would because it is like a free shot or do you tighten up looking to make a big return on your initial investment or doesn't it make any difference
Personally the only time i play any different is in a freeroll where i will play a lot looser looking to accumulate early rather than invest a couple of hours only to go out with the money places in sight

I play them almost the same as any other buy-in... perhaps a touch tighter.

i guess i might tend to push harder on flush draws post-flop at the lower limits but generally i play my own game whatever the stakes really.

I try to play my normal game most of the time. That includes both tournaments I've satellited into and the large majority of freerolls, although I admit I do occasionally succumb to get the urge to play a freeroll or two in a different style.

the only thing i play differently is freerolls, ealry on add a drop of donk to your coffee for those, and an antigravity computer for those times you can't handle 7-2 off suit sucking out on your pocket pair, when all in preflop...

playI don't play any different if I qualified through a sattelite. I always play kinda tight at first if in a big tourney. Once I make the cash then I get a little looser.
