I was playing badugi for most of the night but I was gettinga bit bored and pretty much treading water. So I took a quick glance at the tournies on Stars and spotted a 2-7 triple draw game coming up. Only a $2+20 buy-in so I decided to jump into it.

On the first hand there`s quite a bit of action with me betting out on a decent draw. On the first change I catch a queen and throw it away only to catch an ace on the second draw. The hand is HU by this point and the pot is pretty big so I decide as I have position I`ll stand pat and bluff it. Opponent (Brickbat) changes 1, I stand pat, he checks and I bet. He thinks for a while and then makes the call with Q high. When he sees my hand he types lol.

Well it`s either a stroke of genius call or a donkey call. Either way I don`t mind because it`s given me a nice image as either someone who doesn`t know the game or is a big bluffer.

Well the game goes on and as it progresses Brick starts to get frustrated because he`s getting chased down all the time. Eventually he makes a comment about the ridiculous calls people are making. Well I couldn`t resist pointing out the call with Q high on the first hand. The comment sets the guy off and he starts calling me a retard who can`t even play and thought an ace was good on the first hand.

The game continues a bit longer and the guy is now calling both me and another guy retards and although it wasn`t bothering me I decided I`d see if I could find any ammo to use against the guy and really set him on tilt. Jumped over to OPR and typed in his name. Up pop his stats including an overall ROI of 7%.

Mission accomplished! I type in something along the lines of "Oh I`m sorry I didn`t realise you were such a great player with the 7% ROI"

Response . . .

Not a sausage. Guy shut his mouth and never said another word.

As for me I went on to finish 3rd. Not bad for a retard eh?

It's sad to see how lame some people can be while hidden behind the cloak of anonymity the internet provides. Nice that you were able to lift the cloak a little bit and expose the guy for the windbad he is. Which still doesn't excuse his boorish behavior in the least.
