... or by your good-self mate.
If you get it going and run dry of ideas you could always pm some of the members here asking for a few. I'm sure we'd all would be willing to help it along.

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe they could be short, brief tips
I've got a tip, but it's not very good:
POKER SUCKS. Give it up now.

Ok, ok, here's a better one I read somewhere:
The two hole cards which beat AA most often are Ten/Jack suited.

Not true I`m afraid, although many people think that. In fact the best hand to beat AA is 5-6s of a suit different to that of the aces.
So As Ac vs 5h 6h the 5-6 will win 23.06% of the time.
As Ac vs Th Jh the TJ will only win 21.72% of the time.
Nice idea Adam. I did think of trying something similar myself but wasn`t sure I could come up with anything on a daily basis. I can certainly start a thread and sticky it and then members and staff can add their tips as and when they think of them.

Which just goes to show you that you can't believe everything you read. Thanks for providing that information.
Perhaps a thread which says: Open thread for poker tips, or something like that where peeps can provide random tips anytime.?

K + A.N. other card lower than a K.

getting closer..

I suppose you could say KK cos that way you're not going to lose the hand (unless your opponent hits a flush). But I'd still rather be up against 72os.

KK vs AA worked for me last night... four suited came to the board that AA wasn't on and I was.
I'm guessing it being against Kh/d - 2s/c

yaaaay correct!
the high card K is blocked by our KK, and the kicker is the lowest possible And the same suit as one of our Kings to reduce the flush possibilities
well done mr Stu

Just checked the Odds Calculator in the Alternate Poker Toolbar and the odds in the above scenario is 94.16% for the KK to win and 1.53% for a tie and "only" 4.31% for K2 to win
so even tho these 2 are the hands furthest apart, the K2 still has 4.31% to win..

I've seen where 65 suited has a higher mathematical probability of cracking AA than JTs, but since the percentage difference is pretty small, I wonder if JTs actually does the cracking more often because it gets played more often.

Now that does make sense.

If playing a freeroll tournament holding 2nd pair on the river against a player with a screen name that includes any combnation of 'Iceman' (Iceman1/xicemanx/AAicemanAA etc) who raises you all-in, you should make the call.

If playing in a freeroll against some humongous field for some miniscule prize pool, you should consider giving up poker, which isn't too hard since you're only sort of playing it anyway.
