input on these two please

I took so much crap from Finnes for this call that it has me second guessing myself.  Yes, it was a bounty tourn.

Then this one just two hands later, not that it's any excuse but we were already in the money.  Now this one I would have expected some trash talk on.  No one said a word.

Only thing i can see wrong with the 1st hand is why they thought they needed to push imo it was an easy pre flop call for you mik

On the 2nd hand i dont understand the call/call here
If you've decided this is the hand you gonna try and bully with or make a stand with (which makes no sense as you are quite deep stacked here)
Surely a raise or push woulda been better
I can understand calling to see a cheap flop but not calling again when there are already 2 others committed to the pot

well, 1st hand, you have a 2 outer for improvement, & unless you hit your set or fall into a straight etc...you probabley won't win the hand, we all know the odds & outs for weak pairs...but how could he expect you not to call, the pic isn't clear but it looks like 300-600 blinds, 50 ante, & he only raised it to 1000 ??? if that's so, who in their right mind is folding a PP, no matter how small ??? no that was a good call in that position...

I can't read the pic in the 2nd one to see who bet what, but AQ vs 2 others goes way down in value, but at that stage who's folding it...it's all about luck after that, but would be nice to know what happened in what order...personally, if I faced a raise & re-raise, & if I only had the ante in, it's foldable even then, whover, if I lead out betting, at that stage, no simple raise, it's a push...

I've edited my top post to give you a full size view of what happened.

In the first hand, the inital raise was 3x bb which i called with my 55.  Post flop, Finnes went all in and I called with a set.  He was really mad.  I mean really, really mad.

In the second hand, all the money was in the middle pre-flop.  If I wanted to play the hand I had to push.  I knew BMazz called just for the $10 bounty and since I had him outchipped I pushed to make him decide how good his hand was.  I know I got lucky there but I really didn't think his bounty stealing arse should go unchallenged.

yeah, even 3x the BB, with the ante's in & blinds etc...no brainer to call PF...& be able to get away from it when it misses...

I had a hand the other day like your 2nd one, I played the player & not my junk hand, I had K7 off, in the BB, 9 player sitngo, 11 buck buy in, 1st hand of the game, 1 guy raises mid table, & my note on him was he raises 1st hand no matter what he has(among other things) so I called, hit a king on flop, bet 1/2 the pot, one guy calls, he min. re-raises, went with my gut instinct & called, other player folds, turn is junk, so i check, he bets the pot, i call, river is an ace, I push as I'm still positive he has junk, he calls holding king 6    1 pair of kings each, my kicker played

only comment from someone was lol-lucky, I replied, yes, lucky, but good notes make you money bro...went on to win it to...

I see no reason for any one to be mad in the 1st hand. you had deep enough stacks to make the pre-flop call pretty routine..once you hit your set there was no turning away from his bet..

I think you got lucky in the 2nd hand...like ram said the call call thing is a little passive...you never really knew where you stood until the cards flipped over...a lot at this point depends on what you know about the others at the table..with the right reads almost any play can be right as demons post showed..to play for the win you need to accumulate chips at this point in the tourney..rarely do you win a tourney with out at least 1 hand where you get lucky.
