Are there just 3 of you at the table? Raise preflop if this is the case. Try to find out how strong Brian is. You have a better than average hand for a 3 person table. Since you decided to bet post flop, I think it has to be a much stronger bet. Pot size for sure. Chances are you take the hand right there.

we were 5 left at that stage
brian was UTG
i was SB
Ram BB
What is interesting is what you wanted to say with your min bet on flop? was your plan to take pot there and then? or was it an information bet to see how we would react? if info bet, did you get the info you wanted and felt you were not good any more because you checked turn and folded to my bet on river?

Was this the hand that Mura bluffed at, cos he knew that we didn't have the ace?

It was an info bet
i figured if Brian had an Ace he woulda bet pre flop being the big stack rather than called and with you calling pre flop you coulda had anything
Therefore i thought when you called the bet and call on the flop you had a piece of it also as well as Brian
My check on the turn was more for information to see if anyone was willing to lead out but when it got checked round i didnt really have enough chips or info to make a move at the pot on the river without knowing if it was a good move or not
If i call your bet here on the river, i might as well go all in for what it woulda left me, i still dont know what Brian is holding
So i guessed folding was the best option
I still think, with not knowing the your 2 hands , pushing on the flop woulda been the best play
