Lets play a hand25/50 cash table
Seats 1,3,7 and 8 are multi-tabling like me
Dont have much info on the others
1 & 3 are short stacked on their other tables also while 7 & 8 are sat with round about full buy ins at the other tables we have been sat together for a while
I have been playing a LAG game across the boards and havent shown many hands
1 & 3 have tended to push pre flop when they have any sort of hand
7 & 8 dont mind calling light and playing flops
whats your play

If you've been LAG all session, you can't stop now. Not with that.

I'll go along with Mik but won't get over excited so std 3x bb raise.

Standard raise obv.

So early to mid position no-one thinks this is a limping hand
Or is there any reasons for raising bigger
|
Miklosik

if you limp, you're throwing your chips away imo. If you're trying to switch up your game from your LAG image, wait for another hand.

I think everyone is in agreement with this move
but what next
PowerRam: raises to $2.25
SCR3***7: calls $2.25
wwkb***8: folds
tmcm***10: folds
Harr***1: folds
LOL_***2: folds
*** FLOP ***
PowerRam: ???????????????

AJs vs one player its better to bet out more then not to. many times he folds as that flop is VERY DRY..
A bet around 3.25-3.50 is good imo. A bigger bet will have the same effect as this bet just because of this dry flop.

I`d be more tempted to check-call here. We`re out of position and we`ve missed the flop. There are plenty of cards that can improve our hand on the turn though and by checking we can possibly represent a huge hand on a later street.
If we bet and get re-raised it`s a very tough decision to carry on with nothing but two over-cards.

You've been sat with seat 7 for a while and say he doesn't mind playing flops so tickle in a 1/3rd pot and see how he reacts.

As you say i'm out of position and gotta figure i'm behind here drawing to 6 outs at the most (more if theres a backdoor flush at the turn ?????? )
Do i really want to check call in that situation

I think this gives me more information on their hand and quite an easy fold if i get re-popped |
SO due to the fact that this player had been betting out when they thought they were in front on the flop
I decided to go with a half-pot bet
PowerRam: bets $2.90
SCR3***7: calls $2.90
*** TURN ***
Now i'm a bit unsure of where to go
What are you putting them on and what am i gonna do

Any heart would have given you the backdoor flush draw. Plus any AKQJ would either give you a pair or a gutshot, possibly a flush draw too. Any court card would also have great bluffing potential. By check calling the intention is to float the turn if the right card comes.

This obv didn`t come across quite how it was meant. I was more meaning that if you check-call you can see the turn and maybe set something up, or hit your hand. Whereas you`d have to lay down your hand if you bet and get re-raised.

I`d guess at a medium pocket pair, 77,88,99 but I haven`t seen any other hands. I was going to ask what kind of range they`d been calling with.
It`s time to make a decision either give up or fire another bullet. Half pot again might get him to lay an under pair to the 10 down.

From what i had seen it was nothing too fancy mid PPs and big Aces

I don't like his smooth call and am getting ready to bail. However, if you are going to fire again make it big.

what hand have you been representing from the start? In his position, do you think he has caught any of that board?
