me bad?check this out..drkneenie racked me over the coals for my play in this hand...told me I HAD ALOT TO LEARN when i said he shoulda protected his hand...i think i played the hand right..i thought i had the best hand from the get go...i got lucky on the river..but because i was allowed to not becasue i did any thing wrong..he NEVER raised me the whole hand.

What was his gripe exactly? Looks ok to me. But I don't play much 7 stud. If he thought he had the best hand I would think he would come over the top on 7th st. at least. You said you rivered him, but if he mucked, how do you know? Hand history? Did he have two pair? Or a lower set?

or did he want you to check it down because of the short stack being all in in the middle of it all and figured you didnt have a strong enough hand to keep betting in that situation?

I can`t see a great deal wrong with how you played the hand. Neither of the other players boards are particularly threatening and neither of them ever raises or check-raises. Tbh I`d probably have put both on some kind of drawing hand from the way it was played.
You thought you were ahead so you pounded every street, that`s pretty much what you do in 7 stud. Because it`s FL you can`t stop people drawing so you have to make them pay for the privilege.

You kept betting he kept calling.  If he had you beat early in the hand he should have gone over the top there and then.

yeah nothing wrong there, & the bet on 7th street with the all in on 6th street is a non-factor, his problem for never re-raising you at any time, if he had a real hand, he had AA in the hole, or he's pissed @ himself for not hitting his draws...

Dam, i thought you could see he had 2 queens down for his 1st 2 cards...QQ or AA doesn`t relly matter..I think drkennie has a lot to learn about protecting his hand..I no 7 card stud STUD but i think you have to protect a vulernable hands in poker.
