very nice Nate!!
so what kind of bankroll management do you go by? how many buy-ins do you feel you have to have before you go up one level?
or do you just take a shot at the higher level every once in a while?
maybe you would rather not say , so you dont reveal your pokerstars bankroll
anyway... the 45 man turbos is your domain my friend!
good luck in the next one

TY mura! Yea I like to use good br management, I think you need to have at the least 30x the buy-in for the 45man turbos. Other sng's that have less variance like regular speed 9man sng's you'd probably be fine if you have at least 20x though.

played a few of the $1 ones last week, wasnt very hard to get in the cash in those.. tripled my meager br in just a few tries..
but got a bit bored with playing $1 sngs probably should move some money from another site in to pokerstars so i can play a higher buy in than that..

Yea I love PokerStars, it's really the only site where you can play any sng you want at any time. I also really like how the the structure of the tourneys are set up. So I'm gonna have to agree with ya mura, you should definitely move some more money over there!

WTG Nate you are a hot one.
I like mura have a couple of dollars on P.stars and agree there SnG structure is great, plus there is always a game beginning within a few minutes at all levels.

WTG Nate
I play these sometimes, especially if I'm short on time. As its all over in an hour.
I also like to play the $12 buyin 20 table SNG Turbos, they are like Donk Crazy but if you build a stack quick its easy to cash & good return with $600 for 1st
Keep Up the Good Work
As far as Bank Roll is concerned I'm with Nate, stick to 30 times the buyin, so for the $12 games you need to have about $350 on board, & double that for the one Nate Played above

I find this an interesting comment. This is the very reason I do not care for stars. I think people gamble unnecessarily here because there is always another tourney starting soon that they can jump into if their gamble doesn't pay off. Very little strategy involved in alot of these tournaments. This is not meant to take anything away from Nate's win. It was awesome and congrats. But like he said, he had moved up a level so I'm guessing he was playing the game and not just throwing chips in the middle knowing that he could play again if it didn't pay off. Very nice win.

If your playing online poker to just have some fun then that's cool, but for those who are grinding to bring in some money on the side, how you described PokerStars is exactly what you want. You wan't people playing poor poker for whatever reason it is, yea your going have to have the will power to deal with some sick beats, but in the long run the people making poor choices is what makes you the money!
