MY wish listHave league games at one site. of merge not all different ones or have a new site in mind...have a MLP messenger thats conncted to chat.. have a xtra buy in game at a diifernt site maybe one site differnt a week Challenge or invite forums to one of our league games or xtra buy in games...(maybe I can convince the other forum that I am in.. in this other forum I am in. i am a mod at another forum. (Shhhhhhh dont tell anyone)been it for a few months that I been a mod at the other forum I belong too...SO when it came to choosing for OFC i always have hard time choosing which forum i am gonna play for.. instead having just the top 10 get points have everyone gets some kind of points just for particiating in the league games... Have a poker radio to hook up to our mlp tool bar... have a MLP charity tournament for need kids and invite all sorts of forums to play and make half the buy in go to charity and the money winners donate there winning to the charity TRy to get a well known pro to play in one of our tournaments(it can be done) in the begging of the season handicap the mods with minus 10 points there gonna be in the bonanza anyway!!! have a topic of the week or day.... about poker stragety and make it so that toic stays on the top post and doesnt move down.... WE need to do a liitle more talkig of poker.. Have a MLP world series like have games like 5 to 7 days in a row and have like 2 and 5 dollar buy ins and the main event can be 10 dollar buy in and we can call it MLP MICRO WORLD SERIES Of POKER WElll thats my dream wishes.. I only can hope and dream and give u mlp some kind of ideas If i think of more i will put them down.. |

if you can't beat 'em .....dock 'em. seriously, i doubt we'll ever need to use the rule and this simply wouldn't be fair for the leagues overall. i mean, what's the point in the challenge if we are not all on a level playing field. would you really feel that you deserved to win the league if you knew that other players started with -10. there are plenty here good enough to win any of the leagues and why not yourself after your excellent 3rd place Buy-In League finish last time. 
i like a lot of your other ideas though, with some being more practical than others. i'm sure we will achieve some of these in the not too distant future. i know that sounds like i'm sitting on the fence again but i do mean it. |

hiI never said it would be fair about the minus 10.. just wanted too see if a mod could be the odds... if you won the the tourney you still get your medal...I guess it would be another kind of challengle for you guys...just think it would be fun to see what happends.......but if ameriilo wants minus 50 I am with him

hihmmmm what esle crazy or good thing I can think. of...enter in a public buy in game may once or twice that has a gaureent money or not and count it as a league game.. like a 2.20 or something like that buy in mtt..that way and which mlp finish the highest would get the medal..and points so forth on the way down... that should to do about 2 things one is there will be more people in a buy and have a variety of play in and second of all it will save MLP from adding money to there tourney and maybe thet can use that money for something else...if we did it like on nordica(merge sysyem) because the public buy in tourneys are not that big at merge as some of the othersites..but I would only do something like that once or twice and still have the league games how we have it now.. well something in that manner. |

I find it quite hard to concentrate on the game in hand and chat in the mlp window at the same time. It is enough to talk in the poker window during the game, but yes it would be cool if the first person knocked out of an mlp game went into the chat room, put the kettle on and made the tea for when the other practitioners arrived.

Just a small wish, could the times of games be put in the Events Calendar?
I was trying to find out what time tonights game started and looked in the registration thread and events calendar and it was in neither. Found it in the end.

if harry doesnt fulfil this wish, you can always come to the tourney thread by clicking the game in the calender. and there the time is always posted. League freerolls have 2 threads, one with all the details and one for registration. |

exactly, you're only one click away with the calendar. otherwise, why not use the MLP Toolbar which displays the time for all upcoming games (usually 3 or 4 in advance) and also has links to the tournament threads. you can just hide the toolbar when you don't need to use it. |

jungle poker stopped our sponsorship there awhile back. although i wouldn't say it's impossible that we will be having more games there, it's unlikely in the near future. .....never say never though ! |

hiI rather have a NO limit cash limit table rather than a pot limit.... I would be on the NL table....i try the pot limit and it was not to my tasting... you should take a poll and see what kind of cash table people want.. |

That's a great idea adam but.....  oops sorry, I thought I was Harry for a second.
I like the idea of bringing many different variations of the game to the front. Limit and pot limit have their own skills. I'd like to see it as a horse table, but for now think we should give it a go as is and if it proves popular, expand to take in other ideas.

plus we did actually do a poll and had an extensive thread about what you folks wanted before starting the current one.
i am happy to change the table into whatever you want and whatever works for the majority. it's there for you guys but until we have one that works well, i can't really justify setting up a second one. right now the table doesn't appear to be working so if you can get 3 or 4 others to agree on a no limit cash game, i'll be happy to change it. |

That's a good idea Adam to utilise the chat room more and is something we did try to push when we first brought in that feature.
We kind of go with the flow now; you know yourself how much fun it is in the chat room when we play the OFC and GGE games. It's kind of like no one wants to be the first one on the dance floor, so when the chat room is empty no one goes in there to chat. Anyone can be the first into the chat room, just open the door, switch on the lights and step inside; there is tea and coffee over by the sink (check the date on the milk), and the biscuit barrel is usually half full unless bigjoo has beaten us to it. I think, not good to send the PW in chat as not everyone can login because of java stuff. |

I have to laugh about this 1, take me for example, I have been playing poker for 2 1/4 of a year on line, and played a live game twice , Im really nobody, and get some luck some times, I do believe I won the last trophy because I played every game. and I havnt been winning ANY medals latey, Poker is alot of luck, with some skill, I can beat anyone in here If I have the cards, anyone can beat me! If they have the cards! Maybe the guys who have won before at the WSOP! should have a handicap when they come back to play the WSOP. that would go over like a lead balloon! Funny Adam very funny!

2 wishesI have few wishes and dreams...Have another quater crazy game on the weekday next months with limit rebuys and another wish have like a marathon of games for mlp like mabe play on 4 or 5 dif sites in one day even if one game over laps and have a point sytem and the winner gets a mega trophy or enter into some special tourney... |

i've had something of this nature in mind since January adam. it probably won't be an official MLP league like the big 3 but i think we'll have something smaller up and running within the next couple of months (fingers crossed). |

hiAnother wish.. i think MLP should have an un offical black list were member can put down what sites to avoid but have it were mlp takes no responcibillties and its just the views of members. but in the un offical MLP black list should only count towards people who are having problems with custermer service or cash out or the software is problem and the black list should not be becasue someone keeep getting bad beats on one paticular sites.... |

I know a forum that would love to challenge us. They have done this a few times with another forum. It is 'The Donkey Farm". I am a memeber there as well and they would welcome this.
They also have a lot of contests and ideas that would translate well here. They play primarily on bugsysclub. Currently they are working towards sending a player to Atlantic City in September for a chance to play in the WPT Borgata Open. If interested, I can set this forum challenge up. |

I dont see anything wrong with other forums challenging us to games and if its a recruitment drive surely it works both ways I think this is a good idea As long as any tourney is set up so both forums have the same amount of players playing and they are all registered to both forums From my point of view i am quite a new member here and have no intention of using forum challenge matches as a way of finding forums which might offer me "more" for my time and input and from what i see and know of regulars here i think i am in the majority. So why not go for it if it can be arranged on a mutually accepted format |

How about if you post in the lounge, details ($ time etc) of a game you intend to play, one day/two days/a week ahead of an open tourney on say Carbon/P.com/Nordica (where we all have money).
Make sure the time is cool for both sides of the pond and see if you get a bunch of us playing alongside of you.

really, i think this is a great idea and i'm all for it, i just don't have time to set-up or persue this myself which is why i had hoped Zarger would come back to us on this. i'm all for any member or mod (guys ??? ) looking into this idea and proposing something in the future. as long as we don't clash with our usual games, there really shouldn't be an issue.

not a bad outline, that one adam. the only problem i could see is that it would be hard for me to drum up a series of decent prize pools unless we find the money from the forum itself. obviously the rooms don't really want to put on a continuous event which decreases the entrants per game as this doesn't make financial sense to them.
having said that, it would be cool to do something in this style at some stage, perhaps when/if we are getting better numbers in each game. |
