Not too keen on the pre flop call there  Raise or fold IMO

Then the turn bet wasnt really big enough but with the draw Steve had you probly wouldnt have got rid if him anyway
On the river it looks like you got away from it cheap
If i'm Steve i'm betting for value there

In most any other position I probably fold preflop, but I played it here because Steve was the only caller.  And I don't want to make it sound like I have a problem with his play because I do not.  I thought I would see a cheap flop.  I'm a bit surprised that he bet 2nd pair and then called the raise post flop.  I'm wondering if maybe a bigger post flop raise would be the way to go because at that point he has little value to stay.

Looks fine to me, can't win every hand haha

Your raise on the flop seems rather small.  After steve makes his weak lead for 50, the pot has 225.  Raising to 150 only requires him to put in another 100 when the pot now has 375; i.e. he's getting almost 4:1, which means he'll call - or should - with most hands that aren't pure air.

If you want him to fold at that point, you really should raise more.  Or just call behind if you want to keep the pot small with your vulnerable hand.

the flop bet had to be higher, as it's been pointed out, with a board like that, hitting middle pair like he did with top kicker, he's not leaving to that small of a re-raise, hitting another club on the turn now gives him the nut flush draw, so raising him  250 again was not enough, really, only  a push "might" have pushed him off the hand at that point...

that's the trick with marginal late position hands, much more aggresive betting is the key...better to win the flop sized pot than to lose on the river when they ketchup...
