Nice But GRRRRRRRLed this one from about 20 players left. Lost about a third of my stack with AJ against a hyper-aggressive pushers KQ.
The new chip leader eventually eliminated 3rd and 4th on the same hand. That left me with about 40k to his 140k.
I was holding my own and had clawed a few chips back. Then he raised from the button. I smoothcalled with 78. The flop was 7-8-9 and I decided to bet pot. It was a much bigger bet than I`d normally make and I hoped he`d think I was trying to buy the pot. After a while he folded. A few seconds later he was complaining in chat that he`d experienced some lag and that if he hadn`t the game would have been over. I asked if he`d had the straight and he said no he`d had AA. So his lag probably cost me the chance to get back on even terms.
A few hands later he limps and I raise with AJ. He calls and the flop comes J high. He checks, I bet and he re-raises. I ship my stack in and he calls showing 4-Jc, he rivers a flush to relegate me to 2nd place.
Annoying to lose but still a pretty nice cash I guess.

Very Nice finish regardless!!!! Sorry you couldn't get first. As you know, poker is a game of skill, but there is ALWAYS that luck factor. Like the luck of what cards you are dealt and when you are dealt them and the luck when someone doesn't call your bluff. No matter how well you play, there will always be a luck factor.  -----So, a $200 second place finish is fantastic in my book!!!! ---- It is virtually impossible to win every tournament you play!
