very good sheets came before the first pause and I managed to catch much fish ;o) Bad times came after the pause. I did not manage to take many hands. the game stopped totally after the second pause. an any kind of good sheet came and before the next pause with 1 minute already all-in was forced some ate the blind ones. after.. I tried to force the prize up with a word onto 5.50. there was not problem, I tripled it, but JJ came then...: round fold SB: raise (1xBB) (i thought pot hunter) BB (me): re-raise x3 SB: is thinking, then all-in BB:

todays buyin have 2 players still in it after 2h play, lets just call them Rollercoaster-mousey and steady-laagen if anyone had asked me before the game, i would have reveresed those nicknames..

well, 2nd best in both the freeroll and the buy in from the forum. I guess i should be happy with it. BUT. the bubble was so long in the buy in event, that made like 30/82 players on less then 10bb. and 2 of them was me and DM. we both made it through it and made it to the money. and both top 50 as well, dont really know what that means yet but..

Wow, what a game that was. To paraphrase Mura, a real rollercoaster ride. I have a few hands I may post later but for now I just want to say thanks to the guys that showed up at my table to cheer me on, Mura, Laagen and Schell.
Congrats to Laagen on a great return to the felt. A nice cash today to get the old bankroll rolling again. Can`t believe I`ve finally had a decent run at FTP and had a great finish. Just typical that there are no points for this weekend as far as the league goes

+1 on that. Would have done pretty good on that list. Was a fun experience to get back on the forum and get 2 decent results. Great work on that comeback from 500 to 7K DM. But that hand that made you a shorty i think you should fold preflop.

Actually a lot of the time I would have folded there. What made me call was the fact he`d limped in with AK earlier and raised to 4xbb with 88. I figured he was raising with a small-med pair again so I saw a flop. When I hit top pair and the gutshot I decided to risk the push. Should have figured he`d check his small pair again on that board but all`s well that ends well as they say

GL with the tickets My demise came at 75/150 when i pushed with about 1200 chips to 2 limpers with 88 One called (similar stack to me) with AT and hit the river It wouldnt bother me too much if i had called his push and got beat but for the life in me i can't understand the call/call or is this just me. |
