the hand more or less played it self i think,
on flop you got a good one and also lot of draws out there, you want to bet to get ppl to pay for their different draws, if you dont bet then probably one of the others will and you have to call but now have no idea if your set is good
turn completes the low for those chasing that one, as no one raised you on flop you are probably still ahead and might as well keep the initiative and bet, board starts to look more scary tho with more draws out there to hands that beat you
river is not a card you want to see.. yes you have a flush, but not a flush that is likely to win, i see no point in betting here and would probably check call
Know-nuffin
7 high on the flush and no low hand... I check.
PoolDemon
like they say on the river, your only getting called/re-raised by a better hand, so check-call your hand there, & hope it's good...

you were lucky on that split. Maybe I would raise a pot on the flop, and check on the turn. (Or even if were big raises reraises on the flop the fold is an option with that hand I think - you have no chance for a low, and maybe someones outdrawing your weak set)

I bet the flop to find out where I was. When the bet is just called I`m reasonably happy I`m ahead. At this stage I can pretty much rule out a set of aces (No pre-flop raise + I`m holding an ace) so the only hands that worry me are a set of tens or a straight draw. The call pretty much rules out tens.
The turn isn`t that dangerous unless someone has made a set of sixes. Any 2,4 or 5 and I would have shut down but the 6 means at best someone has picked up a draw. I know at this point that I`m only getting half the pot at most but because 2 other players are still in the hand I bet to either eliminate one or to boost the high part of the pot. If we`d been HU at this stage I would probably have just checked.

Another eagle-eyed APF member just mentioned this to me.
Do you mean make a pot-sized raise? It`s fixed limit.

I think you played that hand quite well....There wasn't alot of options in limit..bet the flop and turn and check the scary board on the river..Seems like the right plays to me..I prefer pl to limit so you can bet out a little more against the draws..But he was going nowhere and the outcome wouldn't have been any different just a bigger pot to split.

lets say it Was PL, lets say DM bet bigger to make the draws pay, and then that river falls...
that low a flush wouldnt be something you want to bet after 2 players ahve called down to river, and checking there some of the others probably would have sensed the weakness and bet out, and then i am sure he has to fold to that river bet..
dont pay too much attention to me.. i am just working hypothetically now.. just letting my mind spin off a bit
was in a way a reaction to the last sentence alby wrote there

Not sure if I'm confident enough to bet out on the river, but I do think the flush will be good more often than not. If someone has it beat, what do they have that fits their previous actions? There are hands, but since the flush was backdoor and no one has ever raised, it seems like only a relatively limited number.
