Pot limit... which are the best sitesPot limit... which are the best sites
I ask because of our forum has enjoyed two pot limit mini leagues recently. The first on P4E seemed to work; but for me the current one on Doyles seems seems to lack any relevance to pot limit because of the blind structure.
I haven't played any large field pot limit games on the cake network and wonder if they suffer from the fast blinds our smaller field games seem to incur.
Is it just me feeling that many Cake games (pot limit and no limit) are 'all-in or fold' after the first 45 minutes.

yeah a reasonable blind structure is needed, imo, looking forward to seeing a few posts on this as I'd like to play more of these...

i agree, the 10 minute structure was imposed by Doyles and not up for discussion. there's no doubt that a min of 12 mins is needed for the pot limit equation to really come into play and 15 mins online being the best.

Yeah I understand it is the network affecting our smaller fields and nothing we can do about that.
Would it be similarly challenging if say 50 players started on Doyles.
My guess is that with a larger field the early exiting stacks may give the remaining players more flexibility.
Does anyone regularly play pot limit on cake or other sites.

Cake`s blind structure is definitely flawed. You only had to look at Sundays OFC buy-in. At one point with about 200 players left I was in the top 10 and only had around 20xbb. By the time it was down to less than 100 hardly anyone had more than 20xbb and very few people had more than 10xbb.
If there`s that effect in NLHE I don`t see how a larger field would really make much difference to a PLHE game. Cake games are always a bit of a lottery imo.
As for where you can find larger fields for PL games and a good blind structure you`re probably looking at Stars. I can`t say I`ve checked out their range of PL tournies but if anywhere has decent games it will be Stars.

I seldom play pot limit, but in terms of structures for NL, a few sites that stand out in my mind for giving more play than average due to their gradual blind structures include Full Tilt, Stars and AP / UB.
