Royal vs. Quad J'sWas playing in a freeroll on Thursday and made it to the final table in about 3rd chip position. I get Pocket Jacks in the big blind. Every one folds except small blind (chip leader) who raises 3x. I called and the flop comes Ad Jd 10d. Small blind checks and I raise pot and he calls (so I figure he either has a straight or a flush or is on a big draw. Turn comes another J. So he checks and I check, river is garbage. He bets about 1/3rd of pot and I go all in and he of course calls and shows Kd Qd for a royal. I tried to take a screen shot but screwed it up somehow. So thats my bad beat for the week.

HiI guess if it was cash you might of won the bad beat jackput... i have had 4 royal flush online and they have only been in tourneys... my goal is to have one in a cash game....

I've only had 1 royal in any card game (without wild cards) in my life. Fortunatly that was on a video poker machine at a local casino and I won $1000.
