I don't want to cry about a bad beat or two, but wonder if anyone else see's trends to reckless play.

I think that during the first two/three weeks of the year, play seemed stupidly loose in general open field buy-ins. Dya think some people think, "right, this year I am gonna be a pro," and go full donk with any ace bluffing like crazy on ridiculous draws.

I've noticed in the last five days similar unbelievable calls with trash and wonder if it is because the schools have kicked out for Easter.

I think some of the problem lies in the promos that sites will run. People get so busy chasing points or whatever it is you need, that they are calling any raise with any draw. Yes, I've noticed alot of it. And it's becoming increasingly frustrating. I'm sick to death of being called off hands only to find out some idiot without a post flop game goes all in on a flush draw. Or with 2nd pair.

I felt that it was just getting worse ........ slowly for a long time. But couldn't really say why. Gets awfully frustrating though. --- that's when I say I HATE POKER even louder!

I can't say I've noticed any difference. There have always been lots of chasers around (thankfully). They have been a prime source of my poker profits for as long as I've been playing, possibly the main source. So, if there are more lately, well, I'm not about to complain.
