Robs reply to my thread regarding PP made me wonder

How much do you deposit when making an initial deposit into a site

If i'm depositting into a site for a reason such as the OFC i wil generally deposit just above the minimum allowed which will give me enough buy ins for a number of tourneys at the same buy in as the OFC game
e.g. OFC games are $5+.50c
As most sites have a min limit of $25 deposit
I will try to deposit $27.50 which will leave my account empty if i dont cash in any of the games i play
If i have a profit on the account after these first few games i will withdraw the whole lot if im not too keen on the site

If i am bonus chasing (which i will play ring to try and clear) i will deposit about 6-8 buy ins at the levels i am gonna play to try and clear the bonus
Then after clearing the bonus i will withdraw my deposit plus the bonus and move onto the tourney tables with the rest of the bankroll there

Well you need to know what your plans will be for the site,
if it's a hit & run only for an event there, deposit only what you need plus the buy in, over the minimum withdrawal.
eg : MW is $50.00, OFC event is $5.50, deposit $56.00 (well maybe a bit more if you want to hit the cash tables etc...)

if you like the site & want to chase the bonus, I'd go with $50.00 also, unless it's really easy to clear the bonus, the more you deposit, the bigger the bonus, but the longer to clear it...

I don't like to deposit any less than the minimum withdrawal, why leave money there or play there if you don't like it...
