Sometimes A Bit Of Tilt Isn`t A Bad Thing

I`d just finished a tourney where I`d been in second place and stacked off against the chip leader. It wasn`t a bad beat, just stupidity on my part.

Then this hand popped up. The guy who makes the initial raise has been playing pretty tight and I`m well aware that my Q-Ts is probably well behind. But as I said I was a little tilty and decided to see the flop.

So this bet just screamed weakness to me. It looked like he was very unsure of his hand. In other words a feeler bet. The other possibility was he had a monster and was trying to induce a steal from me. Well if that was the case he was about to get paid off.

_WAYLANDER_ - Raises 425 to 425

He thought for a short while then

MTGPLAYER - Folds (Fold & Show [Kc Kd])

This is the kind of hand I love to win. Not because it`s a complete bluff (although that`s definitely part of it) but because I knew I was behind but I read the situation well and took down a nice pot. Definitely a little tilt induced but a nice result.

A fine example of playing and using position.  Weakly played by the opponent both pre- and post-flop, but that's not your concern; the goal is to take advantage, which you did.
