The APF Venus & Mars Cup #4 - FINAL STANDINGS
The Format - Angels With Dirty Faces  vs. 
All members are welcome to join in and play any of the individual games that are included in the Venus & Mars Cup. This will allow everyone to take part and have the possibility to contribute to their teams score in any or all of the games. The competition is a mixed game format and all will be $3+.30 buy-ins held at Poker Nordica with $40 added to each prize pool. Please sign-up in each tournament thread as usual and we will take care of the rest. To balance things up a little, only one mod can score for the Raising Devils in each game. Your Captains Captaining the Poker Angels will be Lady T herself : Mrs know-nuffin Captaining the Raising Devils will be the gender bending : Know-nuffin Download Poker Nordica from the banner below - Poker Nordica Review 
Event Schedule and Winners :
The Scoring The top 3 finishing angels and devils will be counted from each game and scores will depend on how many play. So if there are 14 entrants, 1st place = 14, 2nd place = 13 down to last place = 1. Only one mod can score for the Raising Devils in each game. If the Angels and Devils are tied at the end of the 4 games, the most 1st places will decide the winners. If still tied, we run down the most 2nd places, 3rd places and so on.  The captain and players that score points for the winning team will get this award temporarily in their sig line.

Alright, we're going to try a new format for this which will open up the V & M to all members and make the whole thing a lot easier to organise and run. It was always difficult to decide who plays and who doesn't and the new format will allow everyone to contribute and take part in one or all of the games. Essentially this is all just a bit of Xmas fun (a mini-poker olympics if you like) and i'm sure the Angels will be fighting to keep their award.
A couple of the games are not set correctly in the lobby at the moment but this will be fixed soon. Hopefully we'll have a couple of captains to egg things along through the month too.

nope. everyone can take part and score. just play in any or all of the 4 games included in the V & M Cup (sign-up in the individual threads as normal) and if you are one of the top 3 female finishers in one of the games, your score will count towards the angels total which we'll update as we go along. |

It's shaping up to be an interesting game tomorrow and although the boys have more signed up so far, remember they do have the handicap of only having one mod score available to them - which looks to leave things pretty open at the moment.
A few notable absentee ladies so far, let's hope they pop in over the weekend .....not that it will make much difference... ...i sense the shield is coming home !!!

Poker Angels 25 pts Vs. Raising Devils 31 pts Well given the Angels only had 3 players in this game, i think they did really well in keeping it relatively close. I hope we have a couple more in the next game to give the girls a real chance otherwise it's going to be an uphill struggle from here. Good luck in Game 2.

Raising Devils 87 pts Well it looks like the final game will just be about pride for the ladies (unless a miracle happens) but their tasks was really made difficult by their lack of numbers. I hope we'll still get a good turnout for the final game and remember, that only the devils that score in the 4 games will get the award in their sig line - so there's still something to play for. |
