The MLP Buy-In League Table : Season 2 FINAL STANDINGSWelcome to the MLP Buy-In League - Season 2 :- 1st place, $25 and the MLP Buy-In League trophy (*more final tables) goes to Know-nuffin. 
- 2nd place and $15 goes to Brian Wills. - 3rd place and $10 goes to muratore. The top 5 finishers will also get a guaranteed place in the MLP All Leagues Freeroll Bonanza. This will be a series of 12 events held over a 3 month period. Each game will be a $2.20 buy-in with $40 added to the prize pool. League table points will be awarded based upon your finishing position at qualifying tournaments - Next Game : Season Complete Important - Please read extra rules and information below the Points System Table ! Buy-In League points system
Extra Rules and Information : - the league table is updated after each game by our super swede muratore. if you have any queries about the scoring he'll be happy to answer any pm's. - The league will run from the start of April until the end of June and is now expanded to 12 league games. - All MLP members are welcome to join and play these games at any point throughout the 12 game season. Please note; to be eligible for points - you must have posted your screen name (prior to the game) in the specific tournament thread. - You do not have to be a Freeroll League member to play in the MLP Buy-In League. - If a player not eligible for points finishes in the top 10 of a given game, all players behind his finishing position will move up one position. - In the event of a tie, the player with the most top 3 finishes over the 12 games will be placed higher. - payment for the top 3 league winners will be organized between the player and Brian (eg. player to player transfer or neteller). - Forthcoming game details may be subject to change. Buy-In Table abbreviations : Pos = Position Points = Total Points #1 = Points achieved in Game 1 (#2 = Game 2, etc) TBC = To be confirmed Medals and Trophies available : - the Buy-In League Overall Winners Trophy

Hi everyone The MLP Buy-In League has now expanded to 12 games over a 3 month period. The rules and stipulations for the league will remain the same as season 1. As usual, i would ask you to read through the post thoroughly and then ask any questions that should arise ! 
........................................................................................................................... You will notice that we now have listed games at Poker.com/Carbon. Carbon Poker is the new version of Poker.com which is why we will be using the new site name in the future. If you are still using Poker.com, you will be able to access and play any of the games listed at Carbon Poker without problem because they are essentially still the same site. There will be no restrictions between the two ! As soon as we have banners and bonus codes, i will make them available on the forum.

Cheers mate, I'm sure Harry will make it work correctly, once he's gotten to the mlp office,  had a coffee  or two,  read the papers,  been to the toilet  and tucked into his obligotary five bags of chips...  then he'll do some real work.

I would like to wish all MLP members the best of luck in Season Two of the Buyin League. Season 1 was a resounding success & the standard of play was generaly very good.
I'm sure that season 2 will go way beyond season one for numbers, so when this happens please try to still play your best poker, lets not have our games turn in to donk fests
Try to improve your game - as this is what MLP is all about. If you have any questions or thoughts on how a hand was played or general strategy then go ahead, post it on the forum, there are plenty here that will help or confirm your thoughts.
I need that Trophy 
One last thing For the next week, could I ask all members to help grow MLP. Try to tell one new person per day about the MLP Leagues - Thats It, nothing too hard

it was a good game, i felt i took a couple of hars beats during the game , prob because i should have push at the player instead of playing them in but i was tring to vary my game and still play close, i enjoid it and lookforward to game 2. Next time i flop a striaght  i may only go to the turn before i go big time in stead of at the river .
But K9 staying with my AQ still he was the chip leader at the time and only 3 of us left then he hits a 9 on the flop  .

as i've moved the thread, i thought i would post this answer to an important topic started originally by muratore here :
before we set up the buy-in league, i thought long and hard about this and we also discussed this a bit backstage. my feeling is this : - if someone registers for the buy-in then obviously they want to play. - if they don't, then probably something has happened like computer problem, internet went down, etc. - in my mind, they are punished enough as they will certainly lose their money and i do not consider them sit-outs. - and the chances of them reaching the final table (and the points) are very limited. therefore, the rules stand as they are for the buy-in league !

Thanks for my first game with MLP - was very fun and friendly.
Congrats to mura for the win and it was nice to meet some new friends. Watch out next time i may be able to concentrate 100% if my other poker league leaves me alone

Halfway in to the season early leader HOUSECATS is still in the lead despite his poor last 3 games, it Is getting close up there tho.. top 6 within 6 points
if anyone think they got more points than their position in game 6, it is because of one player that finished in the points was not pre registered, LDJ in 4th. so points for todays buy in was awarded to positions 1-3 and 5-11 looking forward to next weeks game on poker.com/carbon! |

As Brian and Know-nuffin have come equal first in the Buy-In League #2, i propose a head to head match to decide the winner. I will set up a special game for this to be arranged with the 2 players. Hopefully we can do this sometime during the week !

I realy dont like the idea of settling it on a headsup.
I my opinion we should have written in a further level or two on the rules. In the event of a tie it probably should be: Most top 3's Most final tables Most Wins So I think KN should have the Trophy this time, as he made a tonne of finals
