The MLP Buy-In League Table : Season 4 FINAL STANDINGSWelcome to the MLP Buy-In League - Season 4 :- 1st place, a $20 MTT buy-in and the MLP Buy-In League trophy goes to harry_lime. 
- 2nd to 5th place and $20 MTT buy-ins go to shirun, HOUSECATS, Know-nuffin & JR. 1st place will receive the MLP Buy-In League Trophy and the top 5 players will each receive a $20 tournament entry (most likely the same MTT event at a given site) to be arranged at the completion of the league.
The top 5 finishers from combined seasons 3 & 4 will also get a guaranteed place in the MLP Top 20 All Leagues Bonanza #4 which will be held in December 2007. This will be a series of 12 events held over a 3 month period. Each game will be a $2.20 buy-in with $40 added to the prize pool. League table points will be awarded based upon your finishing position at qualifying tournaments - Next Game : Season 5 (click here for details). Extra Rules and Information : - The league table is updated after each game by our super swede muratore. If you have any queries about the scoring he'll be happy to answer any PM's. - The league will run from the start of October until December and runs for 12 league games. - All Carbon Poker games will be playable through Poker.com. However, the Poker Nordica games will only available on through their own software. The venue for these games may be subject to change. - To be eligible for points, you must have your screen name for the given poker rooms in your player profile or by posting your screen name in the tournament thread as before. - All MLP members are welcome to join and play these games at any point throughout the 12 game season. - If a player not eligible for points finishes in the top 10 of a given game, all players behind his finishing position will move up one position. - In the event of a tie, the player with the most top 3 finishes over the 12 games will be placed higher, if they are still tied it will go to most final tables and finally most wins. Should we still have a tie for the trophy, this will be decided by a 3 game heads up match to be organised by the players involved. - Payment and/or prizes for the top 5 league winners will be organized between the player and Admin by PM. - Forthcoming game details may be subject to change. Updates :
Nothing too radical to report for next seasons games. I've decided not to tweek with the format much for 2 reasons. 1, Season's 3 & 4 combine to give us the top 5 that go onto the MLP All Leagues Bonanza (read above) so i feel that Season 4 is basically a continuation of Season 3 and... 2, Last season proved to be our best yet in terms of numbers so i think it's worth staying with this format for at least one more season. The only changes that may happen will be a possible change of venue depending on sponsorships from our affiliate poker sites. As we stand, we intend to stick with Merge but i'm sure you willl all appreciate that we may be forced to go with the flow if the tide changes (....how cryptic  ).
I want to wish the best of luck to all MLP'ers that will be taking part in Season 4, i know for many of you it may well be your first full MLP league. Let's see if a member can beat the current domination by the mods and admin. A big part of me would like to think so, but rest assured, i won't be giving up the trophy lightly. .........the challenge is on !!!

It is going to be a grandstand finish to the buy-in this season. It is possible (but highly unlikely) that adam in 32nd place and one point, could yet win. Realistically a win in the last three games for any of JR, swoop, shirun or Harry_lime, will stand them in good stead. Of the chasing bunch, KNOWHEN2, HOUSECATS and myself will need a win and another couple of strong finishing places to stand much chance of the trophy. You'd have to say that muratore Jepulator, bigjoo, fooraces, vegasjj, Runnymede and Brian Wills will need a win or two with a third good finish and may still fall short. Good luck to everyone. |

A rough summary of what's needed for the final game :
For the trophy : - shirun can win by finishing ahead of harry_lime and even if we are level on points, she will win the trophy on countback. - should shirun and harry_lime fail to score points, it opens up the possibility of JR, swoop or Know-nuffin winning the title, with JR needing a minimum of a 2nd place finish and the 2 others needing a 1st place finish. - a 7th place finish by shirun and/or a 6th place finish by harry_lime guarantees the trophy will be between them. - a league win will make shirun our first lady trophy winner. 
For A Top 5 finish : - KNOWHEN2 (6th) and HOUSECATS (7th) have a chance of forcing their way into the top 5 but realistically either will need a top 3 finish in the last game to make it. - shirun, harry_lime & JR are already certain of a Top 5 finish and a $20 MTT entry sponsored by MLP. ....the very best of luck for the final game in Season 4 of the MLP Buy-In League !
