The MLP H.O.R.S.E. League Table : Season 1 FINAL STANDINGSWelcome to The MLP/Bugsy's H.O.R.S.E. League - Season 1- 1st place and the MLP/Bugsy's H.O.R.S.E. League trophy goes to harry_lime. 
I'd like to announce a brand new series of tournaments to be held at Bugsy's Club commencing April 15th, 2007. The games will be based around the HORSE format with 2 full HORSE tournaments included in the 10 week schedule. Each event will run as a standard $2 + .20 MTT buy-in with $20 added. Standard payouts and points are awarded to the top placed finishers with 5 seats for the $10K GTD REBUY SUNDAY SHOWDOWN available at the end of the league and of course, this . There is one password for all the league games (see below) and you do not need to post your screen name as the league is hosted and run by Bugsys .......just turn up and play - next up : Complete (click here for details).
* As an extra bonus we also have 5 freerolls being held every other Wednesday for qualifying members (see details below the Bugsy's Club banner). ** And finally, the top 5 finishers will also get a guaranteed place in the MLP All Leagues Freeroll Bonanza. Freeroll Satellite Game Schedule : As a bonus for all those that play in any MLP/Bugsy H.O.R.S.E. League games, we have some mid-week freerolls. The final 3 of these games will also be available to MLP members that have downloaded Bugsy's through our banners. Passwords will be sent automatically to those eligible. well here it all is.........
after a long negotiation, i think i've managed to secure us a really great deal with Bugsy's Club with prizes over and above the value of the original proposal. as per usual, i would ask you all to read through the whole thread and then i will be happy to answer any specific questions about the league. the password for all the league games will be posted a couple of weeks before the first tourney and will be good for the duration of the league. as these games are set at a regular day and time, they will not appear in the global announcements on the forum. all the information you should need is right here plus i will send out a reminder each week by e-mail. this should be a fun and different event for all of us, i hope you will all come and support it. .....see yer there !

I fact it was only Fooraces (said he had tonnes of cash already at Bugsy  ) & Mrs KN (donated her cash back to MLP this time) that didn't want their money transferred to Bugsy

I signed up to play in the first event today but when I left the site a sign came up saying
'If you log out you will be removed from all MTT's you have entered' and it mentioned the MLP game. Other members have entered so am not sure if I will need to sign up again. |

i just checked and you're there Amarillo. what it says at the end is "This is optional for multi-table tournaments" meaning that when you log out you are only automatically taken off the lists for SNG's and ring games but you can choose when whether to remain in or unjoin any MTT that you have entered but has not yet started. in other words, it's all good.

Remember it is the same password for Sundays game as it is for all league games - check on the top of this thread. Registration is open. Also, our first Bugsy's Satellite freeroll (info above) on 25.04.07 will be posted in the Bugsy's lobby on Monday (Sat's are always posted max. just 2 days before a given event). All the players from the H.O.R.S.E. League games 1 and 2 will be eligible for this one. The password will be automatically sent to each of you approx. 2 hours before the event. Top 2 qualify for the main event !

This is a good value game, even more so as it is not costing us anything. I have just had a look at the game that was played yesterday, it was NOT a rebuy, there were 97 starters at 9pm BST and the game lasted nearly 5 hours. I play too many games on a sunday but will make certain to play this one, if I am lucky enough to win anything then I will donate half of it back to MLP. |

112 started the 3k gtd game.
I lasted until 45th, didn't pick up a hand aaaaaaaaaaall night, was lucky to survive that long, and pushed when I should have pulled.

i had the worst seat position for about 2 hours of the game sat next to the massive chip leader on my left who simply called everything behind me and was uncanny with hitting cards (as Mrs. KN found out unfortunately). i probably played a lot less hands than i would have liked too but maybe that's why i made the money.
finished 15th which was ok. called an all-in with my pocket 4's (only one player behind me) when i was trying to double up. came up against A K. he didn't hit but 2 over pair came on the community cards and that was it. thank's for the great support from Mrs. KN, Amarillo4 and JR. just a shame more of us didn't cash !

I was doing well in this tournament with over 32K chips when I ran into a difficult hand.
Blinds were 400 - 800 with 100 antes. I was BB with 9 clubs,10 diamonds, everyone folded to the small blind who raised to 3400. I should have folded but as it was only costing 2600 and the pot was 5200 I called to see the flop. Flop came all clubs, 10, Jack and King, I had a straight flush draw, the turn was a 9. The other guy went all in, he was the only player on the table with more chips then me, I guessed he had a straight but with 2 pairs and a straight flush draw I called, the river did not help me and I was out in 48th. Saw Harry go out when two pairs came on the board, very unlucky, I hate it when that happens. |
