The MLP H.O.R.S.E. League Table : Season 2 FINAL STANDINGSWelcome to the MLP H.O.R.S.E. League : Season 2- 1st place and the MLP H.O.R.S.E. League trophy goes to harry_lime 
The top 3 players will each receive a $33 tournament entry (most likely the same MTT event at a given site) to be arranged at the completion of the league. The top 5 finishers from season 2 will also get a guaranteed place in the MLP Top 20 All Leagues Bonanza #4 which will be held in December 2007. This will be a series of 10 events held at Poker Nordica and/or Carbon Poker over a 5 month period. Each game will be a $2.20 buy-in with $40 added to the prize pool. League table points will be awarded based upon your finishing position at qualifying tournaments - Next Game: Top 20 All Leagues Bonanza #4 (click here for details). H.O.R.S.E League points system
Extra Rules and Information : - The league table is updated after each game by our super swede muratore. If you have any queries about the scoring he'll be happy to answer any pm's. - The league will run from mid July until the end of November and runs for 10 league games. - new : To be eligible for points, you must have your screen name for the given poker rooms in your player profile or by posting your screen name in the tournament thread as before. - All MLP members are welcome to join and play these games at any point throughout the 10 game season. - If a player not eligible for points finishes in the top 10 of a given game, all players behind his finishing position will move up one position. - new : In the event of a tie, the player with the most top 3 finishes over the 10 games will be placed higher, if they are still tied it will go to most final tables and finally most wins. Should we still have a tie for the trophy, this will be decided by a 3 game heads up match to be organised by the players involved. - For more information about all the game types played in our H.O.R.S.E. League : Unsure about H.O.R.S.E. and it's game types ? - The prize for the top 5 league finishers will be organized between the player and Brian (eg. player to player transfer). - Forthcoming game details may be subject to change. HORSE Table abbreviations : Pos = Position Points = Total Points #1 = Points achieved in Game 1 (#2 = Game 2, etc) TBC = To be confirmed Medals and Trophies available : - the HORSE League Overall Winners Trophy

Thanks Harry  I have never herd it called that and I thought it was 7 card stud? but no that was listed, and didnt see it listed as a game at nordica.

Update after Game 5 :
Half way through the season and it's great to see some new faces at or near the top of the table. Plenty of time for newcomers to join and still reach the top 3 with a couple of good results. I'm sure it's going to be a tight finish !!!

Here's the Game 10 scenario to find our trophy winner for Season 2 :
- I need 4 points (7th place in the final game) to guarantee the trophy. - Should i score 3 points, Brian can take the trophy with a win in the final game due to more top 3 finishes. - Should i score 1 - 2 points, Brian or HOUSECATS can take the trophy with a win. - Should i fail to score points, Brian or HOUSECATS can take the trophy with a win. Brian would also achieve this with a 2nd place on count back. - Should HOUSECATS and i finish level on points, i would retain the trophy as we both would have 3 x top 3 finishes but i would have more final table finishes. .....i reckon that's about it !

Well played everyone,  very impressive showing by Harry again;
great job by Housecats scoring in 8 rounds and JR making a strong finish to the league; and bad luck to aurassant for being squeezed out of a guaranteed bonanza seat; - although I am not sure of the rules you may still get in as Brian will be on his hols.

thanks for that and i must say, this is probably my favourite trophy to earn !
it's good to see many of you that were a little lost at the start of season 1 are getting more and more into the HORSE League and starting to play this and it's various formats regularly outside of our games. although we had a fairly low turnout for the final game, i think our numbers were generally good and the overall standard of play is definately improving. mura and i have been chatting about next season and i think we will keep everything pretty much the same but this time have every other game as the full H.O.R.S.E. format. i expect we will start again in January so keep your eyes on the forum for the new schedule towards the end of December.

Phew, by the skin of my teeth I made it into the top 5.
I have to echo HC in that these games have been great fun, I certainly enjoy the variety. I know KN has got into them lately too, so hopefully wherever we go next year we can play together. I shall look forward to taking his chips

So nice of you to say so Mik. I actually feel the greater achievement was the Buy-In League - Season 3. Consistancy in limit games is much easier than no limit where you're forced into more bluffs and the risks are much higher. Plus given many of our members are still learning the formats, with a little patience, it's not so hard to make the most of the good hands when they come along. You could say that the Buy-In League is played on a much more even field.
....lol, you've just reminded me how down on my luck i am at the moment !
