I`ll throw another one out as I have it to hand.

Blinds are 150/300 and there is a 25 ante.

You start the hand with 11,870 chips

You have the button and the action folds round to you. You have Ks Kh. You make it 1080 to go.

Sb calls (he has 9,655 chips)

BB folds.

Pot is 2,685

Flop is 6s Ah 7d

Sb checks and you bet 1,060

Sb re-raises to 2,120

You call

Pot is 6,925

Turn is 3h

Sb checks. You bet 1140 and he calls.

Pot is now 9,205

River is 5d

Sb bets 1,700

Do you call or fold? What do you think the Sb has?

that's another of those how can you fold with what's in the pot hands, you either had him the whole way, or he indeed has an ace or better...

I don't understand the very small bet on the turn, feeling him out ? if I had the nuts or close too it, or nothing, i'd call also, it is NL right ?
DangerMouse

Yeah it`s NLHE.

Not actually me playing the KK either.
HOUSECATS

You are to deep now to fold. should have folded after check raise. I belive the sb has AQ

This was an entertaining hand for me and a very confusing one for Mr KK.

I was sat in the SB with AA.

When he raised pre-flop I couldn`t help but wonder if it was just a steal so I just smoothcalled.

Obviously it was a fantastic flop for me and I just wanted to see if he had a piece of it or if he`d bluff at it.

When he fired I thought I`d throw in a min raise and hope that he had a big ace and would come back over the top. When he called my re-raise I really wasn`t sure what to put him on. I guess he thought my min-re-raise was a check-raise bluff.

On the turn I decided I`d check and perhaps show some weakness. I figured if I led out I might spook him and even if he doesn`t bet the turn I might get some value on the river.

As things turned out he bet again. It was tempting to throw in another check-raise but I figured if I smoothcalled I could lead out on the river and probably get paid off which is exactly what happened.

He made the call but not before asking me if his kings were any good.

All in all he got off pretty light. If I`d re-raised pre-flop all the money could have gone in. And if an ace hadn`t fallen the same could have happened after the flop.

NH, WP, but same goes for him, your small bet on the river couldn't be folded, he even knew ya had him, but he can't fold here...
