The Team Alternate Mini-League (OFC/GGE) #2 FINAL STANDINGS

The Team Alternate Mini-League (OFC/GGE) - Season #2
This Mini League will consist of the next 8 (pro-US) OFC and GGE events.
Both the Freeroll and Buy-In events will be part of this Mini League.
The winner will have this award permanently in his/her sig line and 2 HOF points.
We'd like to announce a Mini League for the players that chooses to play for Alternate Poker Forum (Team Alternate) in the coming OFC and GGE events!

The idea behind this Mini League is to promote our members to play for us in these events which will hopefully mean bigger numbers for Team Alternate and by that also more players going deep in these events!

The Winner of this Mini League will have a permanent Award added to their signature line here at the forum. This Award is also worth 2 points for the forums Hall of Fame  

This will be a series of the coming 8 OFC and GGE events. League table points will be awarded based upon your finishing position at qualifying tournaments - Next Events : OFC #55 and OFC #56 (click here for details). Please read extra rules and information below the Points System Table !

Extra Rules and Information :
- The league table is updated after each game by our super swede muratore. If you have any queries about the scoring he'll be happy to answer any PM's.

- The league will run over the next eight (pro-US) OFC/GGE events starting with OFC #48 at Wass Poker 7/12. Both Freeroll and Buy-Ins are counted towards the League Table.

- To be eligible for points, you must have signed up to play for our forum and also posted your screen name in the respective OFC/GGE thread as before.

- All APF members are welcome to come join Team Alternate and play these games with us at any point throughout the eight game season. The more the merrier !

- In the event of a tie, the player with the most top 30 finishes over the 8 games will be placed higher, if they are still tied it will go to most final tables and finally best average finishing position.

- Forthcoming game details may be subject to change. Although the OFC/GGE games normally occur once a month, we are not in control of their schedule and cannot make guarantees of "if" and "how many" will occur. As long as they are held at US-friendly sites for anyone to enter, then league points will be available.

What a great start we have had in this league  

We have already had a Final Table, already placed as a 3rd best forum, already had a game where more than half of the player cashed  

I had a look at last seasons results, winning points then was 300 over 8 games. Now after only 2 games we already have 2 players that are more than halfway to the 300 pts...  


I am really looking forward to the coming events...

Looks like it will be an interesting closing weekend at Full Tilt next week  

It is still very open on who to take it all down

The next OFC is not announced yet, but be sure we will launch another season of this Mini League !

Wow, thought I`d blown this when I went out early. Just like yesterday I had very few playable hands. After 20 hands I`d seen one flop, turn and river and that was from my BB and checked down all the way.

Picked up aces but didn`t get much action. Limped into a couple of pots but never hit. Then I get AK, raise to 4xbb and the BB calls. Flop A-Q-x. I lead out about 3/4 pot and he checkraises me all-in. With only about 660 chips left I made the call and he had QQ for a set. I played maybe 5 or 6 hands in 45 minutes of play.

I have to say I was gutted when it looked like I`d blown it. I`ve led since the second game. Being the bridesmaid yet again would have been sickening.

I do like this league. It`s excellent competition and it`s been close run in both seasons. I`ll look forward to trying to defend when we start up again.
