i think the flop that came out would lean me not to chase a turn or river 9.
you did a great job just calling the turn but I would have probably folded/reraised that flop to get a better idea of what your opponent had.

The pre-flop call is fine.
I`m not sure I would have called the bet on the flop. That`s a pot sized bet and my own view of Ralph is that he doesn`t bluff that much but he does play the hands that hit very aggressively. I would probably have put him on AQ with a chance of an overpair at the back of my mind and folded.
Having called the turn and hit the nine you`re only behind to a set of queens and although I might have re-raised all-in, I might have done as you did and smoothcalled seeing as Ralph was continuing his aggression. Either play is probably viable. I don`t think Ralph was folding if you pushed though so I think I prefer the push.
Obviously you have to call on the river.
I saw the hand but from my opinion of Ralph I fold on the flop.
I did lay down TP-TK to Ralph at one point. Wether he had the overpair as he said he did is of course debateable but I suspect he was telling the truth.
