Tournament Stats - Thoughts?A set of stats from a tourney at Stars. Anyone care to comment just from the numbers?
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 196 hands and saw flop:
- 10 out of 27 times while in big blind (37%)
- 4 out of 27 times while in small blind (14%)
- 6 out of 142 times in other positions (4%)
- a total of 20 out of 196 (10%)
Pots won at showdown - 5 of 7 (71%)
Pots won without showdown - 18

you won all but two hands that you played and sb gave you a walk 5 times. I can hear the squeek all the way over here you played so tight. So I figure that when you played it was very aggressive and you did all right for yourself.

Yeah I lost the first, AJ vs QJ (My first raise after 20 mins of playing and the BB can`t let it go) and obviously the last.

How`d you work that out?

Yeah 10% is monstrously tight, even for me. I probably average around 18-25% in most tourneys. Early on I had an aggressive table and couldn`t see many cheap flops and I was pretty card dead throughout the game.
I was on or near the bubble from about 27 players left, it paid 9. I played push fold poker for most of that time until I got to a stage where I could afford a 3xBB raise and not be truly pot committed.
In the end I finished 6th from a little over 50 players.
The last hand was interesting and had I won it I would have been in great shape to at least make the top 3.
