nope but you need to deposit at least $50 to get the 150% deposit bonus and our tracker will do the rest.

i think so as we should be having a fair few tournaments there and they appear to be of the quality not quantity attitude similar to MLP. this is a very fair summary from beatthefish.com :

Bugsy's Club is a niche site run by the folks at PokerSchool and PokerPages. The traffic is relatively low, but I like the potential at this site. They have become an inside favorite to its loyal members and the competition is much less stiff than advertised. For players who enjoy a community feel, this is a good choice. Also, if you like to use player notes and histories to your advantage, you'll like playing here because you'll often run into the same players at the same limits. Overall positives include basic software, good customer support, and I like the WSOP promotions they offer. Their recent decision to allow US players to the tables also shows that they are committed to their product and have a backbone.

Their guaranteed tournaments are usually only 20 times the buy-in, making them large Sit 'n Gos. Lately, they have added a weekly $10,000 guaranteed tournament on Sunday. You'll also find a regular amount of small freerolls, which is nice to get to know how they run their tournaments. The real gem of the tournament offerings is the free seat to the WSOP. You can play in initial freeroll heats, and the top finishers eventually qualify for the main event where a WSOP seat is given away.

The software at Bugsy's Club is unique, and I give them points for it. The table can be a bit small and crammed on higher resolutions, but it is also easy to use. Due to some recent upgrades, the game speed is quite fast now. Cards are dealt very quickly and there is little lag between each new hand.

I have a question about razz. Lets say your seven cards are A A 2 2 3 6 6, which would mean no matter what your best 5 would have a pair in it. Is this hand disqualified or is it beat by any hand that doesn't have a pair in it? These games are gonna be interesting . I cant wait!

Something else I just want to be sure about lets say there are the two hands the best five for each hand are: #1- A 2 3 5 8 | #2- 2 3 5 6 7

Winning hand for Razz: #2
Winning Lo hand for Omaha H/L: #1
Winning Lo hand for Stud H/L: #1

Is this correct?

it qualifies but would be beat by a high only hand.

Winning Lo hand for Stud H/L: #1

no, i believe that #2 wins on each occassion as 7 high is better than 8 high. someone may well correct me here.
and i quote from the omaha hi/low section :
Quote:
The winning "Low" hand goes to the player with the lowest high card. For example, a player with a 2,4,5,6,7 would have a better "Low" hand than someone with an A,2,4,6,8.

This is a poker game in which the low poker hand wins the pot at showdown. In razz poker, players are dealt seven cards throughout the course of the hand, but only the best five-card hand possible for each player is used to determine the winner

So your Razz hand would be A3622, a pair of twos would it not? But would you still be in the hand if all you could make was a pair?

On the other question, Harry is correct, the low is always determined by the 5th card first, so if in your low hand the highest card is 8 then you have an 8 low, you then work back from there if two players both have 8 low.

I've seen HORSE on tv a few times and have played each of the games that make it up, but never all in the same game. I haven't been too successful in anything other than hold em or omaha but I'm looking forward to playing HORSE and seeing how I do. Be gentle on me

I have never played horse before and I'm really intrigued. I might sound stupid here but is this 5 seperate games one after another or are all 5 played at once? As you can see I don't mind looking stupid....

the HORSE tournament itself is one event where the format changes at each blind increase.

however for our HORSE League next season, we will play individual events in each format. to check which event is which, all the info is here : MLP H.O.R.S.E. League Table

the reason why i didn't include a proper HORSE tournament next season is because the Merge Network doesn't have this facility yet. should this change then i will be adding at least one of these to the HORSE League schedule.

...hope that all makes sense !

Hi

i want to play horse.. but i just cant seemed to do it... its praobly because I am not a big fan of seven card studd or Razz but i do like ohmha and holdem... so I guess if you had a HO instead of horse... or maybe i just play the HO.... i would have to play a few play or really cheap buy in games for me to get used to horse......
cerberi

The biggest problem that i have with horse is forgetting which game im playing.Sometimes im betting on what i think is the best hand only to realise its the wrong game and my hand is in fact the worst one lol.
tomy2005

i know how to play only holdem and omaha the rest of them how i can learn them?
addam00

hi

The games are explain on the top of this post if you click on the game on the post then it will explain to you and if you are unsure on still how to play the game.. go to a play money table and play there to practice and ask people around the tables about some qustions about the game.

I am really getting into playing this and got to watch when game changes need an alarm of some kind. It's un afoldable that I will end up with more then one game going and I am sure that is the case with most of us and we get caugth betting on the wrong game seems like they like razz and stud next to each other when maybe it should be

spelling is not important

H- holdem
r- razz
o- 0maha or sjust high
s-stud
e eight or better stud or omaha

You would not be the first to go all in with a full house and then find the game had changed to RAZZ.

Mad4Cards

he he Mura just pointed this thread out to me.... I had no clue about HORSE then... I've since become hooked and won my share of HORSE tournies lol. I'm looking forward to joining in the HORSE league next season and seeing how I do.
jolub

Thanks for spelling the name out.  I never could understand what the "E" stood for.  Eight-or-better (Seven card stud high-low)
jolub

I took another look at this post and I noticed something that's I didn't see before.  Razz sever card stud low.  I never thought of the game in that sense but it is 100% correct.
