Well if you just call you`re inviting both the blinds to call or maybe for one of them to put a squeeze play on you by coming over the top and then you`ve a horrible situation on your hands. If you call the BB is definitely priced in and then you`re looking at playing your 7s in a 3 or 4 way pot where they`re just not likely to hold up.

You can push and possibly get the action HU but I think I actually fold here. That`s partly because I`d be worried about picking up another caller from the blinds.

The main reason though is I think your 7s are crushed. I think the original raiser has a pp probably aces thru 10s or maybe 9s. At worst he has 2 overcards but I`m pretty confident on my initial hand range. I could be way off though as I didn`t see how the table was playing up to this point.

After you`ve revealed the hand, if I`m right I`ll explain my thoughts on that.

Just 1 thing i didnt put in there Neil the guy who pushed had joined the table about 1 orbit before as quite a big stack about 19k i think and had taken a couple of beats so i was putting him on tilt

unless the read you have on the blinds is that they would fold if you pushed all in preflop...calling only isn't an option, & 77 vs whatever, well, even aces if it ended up in a possible 3-4 way pot can get cracked, so it's an easy fold, imo...

Here we go  - blame me if you want to

I'd push allin - no matter how the table played before.
You got a pair and you are small stacked (less than 10BB's).

Take a risk coz you are in the money   aaaand you want to go deeper

Seriously I changed my style of play when I'm already in the cash, playing with a bit more "balls".

ahhhhhh and btw I finished 15th in this certain freeroll for nicely 125 bucks

That does make quite a difference on hand ranges then. I was envisioning a different scenario there. His hand range could be huge given the situation.

I don`t think pushing or folding is that bad an option.

If you fold  you still have just about a big enough stack to get a little fold equity if you push in the next orbit.

If you push you`ll probably get HU and the pot odds given his likely range are in your favour. If you pick up another caller though you`ll either be a small favourite or a huge dog.

In all honesty this seems to be one of those hands where I`d be playing by instinct and going with my gut at the time.

I love you Niti

The screenshot is a bit out here but he showed J8 off

As has been said calling was not an option here and with the blinds having stacks similar to mine i figured they would need a big hand to call me down
so imo my only option was to try and isolate and hopefully not be up against a bigger pp i figured he was on tilt as he had lost a big wedge in the last few hands and with the blinds coming to him next it was an easy push for him with any 2

the reason i found this hand interesting was the reaction of the two players in the blinds
The sb castigated me for being in the pot   while the bb said i played it just right 77 would probly not hold up in a multi way pot
Mind you the sb did say after he folded 10 J

ahhhhhhhhh our lucky 50K winner adacho was on tilt   , in this case I would have pushed instantly   , at least you got some chips back    - what was your final result though ? (just FMI   )

btw "tripledmeup"(SB) I know as a tight azz   , so I would have been quite sure he/she folds in case there's no big hand   .

ahhh and who was sitting in the BB ?

that little tidbit of info was kinda important for reading the hand, also, looked @ your stack too fast, thought you had lots more than 10BB's left, so yeah, knowing that I would have pushed instantly...
