that first hand sums up my last 2 months. you hit the cards you want, play it cool to maximize the pot and keep your customer interested. string 'em along to the end and get buggered by an under pocket pair hitting the full house.
you can't blame him for calling the turn as he can't have put you on the ace and probably felt his kings were good.
too cute by half - bed time for sure !!!
p.s. Sirwinball

I think calling it a night after those hands was the best move you could have made

Man reading that is like seeing a little kid just get a cool ice cream cone on a hot summer day and with the first lick the ice cream tips from the cone splattering against the asphalt.

la chose33 probably didn't know how much you love to play those rag aces,
I'm surprised he went with the raise. Any donk and his guide dog could see two pair was gonna be behind in that hand when he called, especially with the check raise move.
On a nine seat table what's the chances of someone holding on to any ace......
Maybe a stronger raise on the turn would have pushed him off, it depends on your read of him.

you dont want him off that pot.. you want him to stay and pay more

here's what happened to me at Titan during the MLP Cake game last night.
- note particularly the $10000 call after the flop.
- 23 left with the top 15 cashing - maybe i wasn't aggressive enough :

hmm...1st hand is just unlucky that K comes on river. Guess opponent eighter didnt put u on ace and still thought he had u beat, or he just cant fold that high a pp and get lucky and hits on river.
2nd hand is a donkey. Guess he calls because he can afford it and ur lowstacked...gets lucky again
Limes hand is obviously a setup AA arnt allowed to win... or opponent put u on AK or some high cards and reckons u didnt hit anything on flop and figures his 5s are good...hard to say what ppl think

Your killing me KN
I did actually consider that I may be outkicked, but it was unlikely & I figured I probably him at 4% chance on the river
