lol yeah. I think that`s surprised everyone. He`s certainly not on my fantasy team for this event, more`s the pity

i've added a link to the Forum Toolbar which goes directly to the WSOP Tournament Updates at worldseriesofpoker.com.
it's at the very top in the "Links" tab.
form there you can see updates for all the tournaments, the chip counts and even tweets from certain players.

Just tried that link Harry. Nice one. I'm still trying to get my head around the Fantasy League stuff.
Is there a website which lists all the entrants for individual events - so you can remove the players from your Fantasy team who aren't taking part and draft in replacements who are?

Event Winners
Event #2 Winner = Vitaly Lunkin (2nd bracelet)
Event #3 Winner = Thang Luu (2nd bracelet)
This is an amazing story as Thang Luu has successfully defended the same event he won last year and the year before that he came in 2nd place. Kind of takes away the notion of poker being a game of pure luck doesn't it.

I`m in 2nd with $79,633
Swoop in 3rd with $67,190
If only I`d had Feddy Deeb as an Group A player rather than Group B |
you need to enter "overall fantasy dollars" to see the real standings.
i just posted the current scores after event 3 here : http://alternate-poker-forum.com/sutra56555.php#56555

Neither did I.
My selections were made by the tried and tested method of hitting random buttons.
Much like my freeroll play.

Updates
In addition to the WSOP Tournament Updates link, i have now added the link which will take you directly to the live feed of the final table for most of the forthcoming events, starting with Event #4. There are also regular reports on offer here.
Bare in mind that they will only be broadcasting the final table so keep an eye on things using the WSOP Tournament Updates link and when the final table is in effect, use the WSOP Live Feed and Updates link which is situated just above the WSOP Tournament Updates link ...clear as mud!
* You'll need to make out a quick registration first (all of 2 minutes) and it does not have any effect with your PKR account if you have one.
Once i've checked this all works ok, i'll see if it's possible to add just the player for ease of use with the live feed.

Update
The live feed is working well (it's on now) and i've also added a second link called "WSOP Live Feed in Player" which should open directly in the media player of your choice. For me it opens in Windows Media Player without me having tp do anything but click the link. You may need to register first in the other link (i'm not sure).
This will only work when the live transmission is going and if you have any trouble, i suggest you stick with the other link that opens the full page.
The streams good with commentary and interviews and the game goes along.

My favourite update so far
"Fri, 05 Jun 2009 21:50:18 Moth Disrupts Play Players are currently being distracted by a single, gigantic moth that has somehow managed to sneak past security and into the tournament area. It will most likely be dealt with severely."

Is it Phil Hellmoth.

This is pretty incredible, and i quote :
Congratulations to Jeff Lisandro, Event #44 Champion!
"There's no question that Jeff Lisandro just accomplished the greatest feat any stud player has ever achieved in World Series of Poker history. Not only did he just win his third WSOP bracelet of 2009, but he now has one in each discipline of stud poker-- stud high, stud eight or better, and Razz."

Interesting final table.
Good one for me. I have Ivey as an "A" pick in my fantasy team, anyone else?

yep, i have Ivey too. would love to see him win it.
i hope Akenhead can double up early as well. he's as capable as anyone in the pack and how nice it would be to see a british winner.

I have Phil as a "C" player. Hopefully not many in our league have him and I might be able to jump out of last place.
